Hawaii -10.5 & the under was my bet... If Hawaii throws anymore interceptions Santa might come to my house and encounter a very drunk/angry individual...
December 24th, 2010 at 8:27 PM ^
Looks like for now this thread could just be a 2 man show..
December 24th, 2010 at 8:30 PM ^
I'm watching, too. I'm 1000 miles away from my family and frankly I don't give a crap about Christmas.
December 24th, 2010 at 8:33 PM ^
The Spirit!!! I am pounding Moose Drool right now getting drunk...
December 24th, 2010 at 8:45 PM ^
Where did you get it? Man, Big Sky Brewery is blowin up these days.
December 24th, 2010 at 8:55 PM ^
A few places here in Grand Rapids you can get it that I know of... I am still waiting for New Belgium Brewing Co. to make it into Michigan
December 24th, 2010 at 8:57 PM ^
I'm shocked that you can't get at least Fat Tire in Michigan. That's amazing with it being such a great beer state.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:04 PM ^
It's been real frustrating... Fat tire and Blue Paddle are about my 2 favorites and not being able to wet my beak unless I pick some up when I visit Chicago is a huge bummer.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:08 PM ^
I've been on a tear with the 1554 lately. Solid black ales are tough to come by in these parts. Between 1554 and Saranac's Black Forest, it's my favorite thing to hit up in the winter.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:15 PM ^
As I understad it Fat Tire is available in Indiana but can't even be ordered by specialty retailers here. I have tried to order it through D.Schulers and all of their suppliers said no dice.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:42 PM ^
When I'm not away at school in Ann Arbor, I live in Northville and there's a bar/grill called The Rusty Bucket that has Fat Tire. If you're ever in town go check it out, it's a pretty cool place.
December 24th, 2010 at 11:19 PM ^
Northville, MI!? Don't tease me if this is to be true...
December 24th, 2010 at 11:58 PM ^
yeah Northville, MI. It may have been only during the summer though.
December 25th, 2010 at 12:06 AM ^
I had no idea that it was that hard to get Fat Tire in Michigan. You can pretty much get it anywhere in California. I just recently had Jolly Pumpkin Noel de Calabaza at a bar in San Diego. I wish that were more available in California.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:18 PM ^
It's funny. I like Moose Drool and Slow Elk, but I live in Montana and consider Big Sky maybe the fourth or fifth best brewery in the state. I'm amazed at how well they've done at getting their beer all the way back east.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:01 PM ^
+1 for Moose Drool, great stuff.
December 24th, 2010 at 8:47 PM ^
If it makes you feel any better, I'd love to be 1000 miles from my family the last 2 days. Babysitting great grandmother is driving me insane. Even the padre bailed to go shopping with mother dearest in order to avoid the pain I had to endure.
December 24th, 2010 at 8:56 PM ^
Me and my dad have just been sippin on craft beers watching football the past 2 nights... So, I feel inherently bad for you formerlyanonymous...
December 24th, 2010 at 8:58 PM ^
We each bought $40 in beer to prepare for this weekend. My Sam Adams winter pack is almost gone. Pleasantly suprised by the Southern Star packs I got. The Pine Belt Ale is quite hoppy. Always nice to find an excellent craft brewer who brews only in cans, doubly nice for local.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:07 PM ^
Sounds Fantastic... My dad just picked some up and I have been grabbing anything and everything.. It hast mostly been Bell's Pale Ale and Moose Drool.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:25 PM ^
would give my left nut, both U of M kickers and an LB to be named later to sit and drink a beer with my Dad.
December 24th, 2010 at 8:38 PM ^
when I wished that Michigan's defense would look as good as Tulsa's or Hawaii's... My oh my
December 24th, 2010 at 8:46 PM ^
That punt was horrendous.

He's been behind Kinne since the beginning. Good reason, too. Kinne is a pretty good quarterback and well rounded. Beaver hasn't developed the arm enough to crack the starting role.

December 24th, 2010 at 8:59 PM ^
I don't even care about Michigan recruiting, it's my least favorite part of the site. I just watch WAY TOO MUCH college football.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:13 PM ^
Hawaii getting the points, rather than giving. Thought I could weed out some of the weak who would take Tulsa randomly, not realizing they should be getting points. Watch and see Tulsa win big enough to cover the spread they're getting.

And with that, another Tulsa TD.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:20 PM ^
There goes my perfect pool. So frustrating because Tulsa's offense is doing nothing, but their defense is outscoring Hawaii's offense. Two pick sixes in the first twenty minutes? WTH
December 24th, 2010 at 9:20 PM ^
I am getting blasted tonight... Eff Tulsa
December 24th, 2010 at 9:24 PM ^
Wow, Hawaii's qb stinks. 3 INT's in just over a quarter.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:35 PM ^
Didn't the talking heads say this was going to be an offensive showdown? I'm disappointed.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:39 PM ^
I picked Tulsa to win this one in my bowl pick-ems, hopefully they will pull it out and secure a 1st place spot going into christmas,
December 24th, 2010 at 9:56 PM ^
6 turnovers in the first half for Hawaii. Unreal.
December 24th, 2010 at 9:58 PM ^
was the hawaii coach drunk?
December 24th, 2010 at 10:09 PM ^
But me on the other hand... yes...
December 24th, 2010 at 10:03 PM ^
Has there been a close bowl game yet, I swear they have all been blowouts.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
The Beef 'O' Brady's St. Perersberg Bowl featuring Southern Miss and Louisville.
How could you possibly forget that one????
December 24th, 2010 at 10:15 PM ^
Shit, I missed that one.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:08 PM ^
I want a Red Rider BB gun.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:10 PM ^
Robert that sucked. And you did'nt have much to say about your buckeyes.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:18 PM ^
Was that directed towards me? If so, notice the "stuck" in "stuckinohio" name. Just drinking beer and relishing in all of early Christmas gifts (osu in trouble will NCAA, commitment of a K). Merry Christmas dude, next drink is for you.
December 24th, 2010 at 10:58 PM ^
Three TD's in six plays for Tulsa so far. Is there anyone who still thinks Michigan has the worst defense in the country? Thank you, Hawai'i. Aloha and all that stuff.
December 24th, 2010 at 11:09 PM ^
Man, for saying I'd take Hawaii giving the points, I picked Tulsa in my pick'em with a 9pt level. After watching Kinne and Hawaii's turnovers, I remember why I did that.
December 24th, 2010 at 11:31 PM ^
TD Hawaii, only 23.5 points to cover!
December 24th, 2010 at 11:35 PM ^
Why has Pilares (Hawaii's 2nd receiver after Salas) not caught any passes for Hawaii? Did he get injured?
I forgot his name and saw that Pollard was racking up the yards so just assumed that was who I was thinking of.
December 25th, 2010 at 12:22 AM ^
Pilares went back to receive the first punt and was injured on the play, and did not return.
December 25th, 2010 at 12:44 AM ^
Man, that's a rough way to end your college career.
December 25th, 2010 at 1:43 AM ^
both defenses are really slow.
