Shea was really solid last year. I hope he takes the next step and absolutely lights it up this year and then goes in the early rounds of the draft.

Probably the most talented passer since Henne.  It's silly that he didn't have a single 300-yard game last year.

I have great faith that we won't be saying that this year.

The scheme didn't help, but as well as he played, he missed a lot of open receivers, and there were a lot of drops.

I have a very good feeling about this season.

This has to be the year Harbaugh & Co. make something happen. Other than injuries to starters, there are no excuses. OSU has a new coach. We have all three rivals in Ann Arbor. This  is year 5 of Jim. We have a great senior QB with one year under Harbaugh going into his second. I expect nothing less than beating MSU, OSU, and winning the conference, thus making it to the playoff. We don't really need to beat ND. It would obviously be nice, but it's not needed.

Or what?  Not that I necessarily disagree with you that this year has the makings for a championship run, but absolutism (in my opinion) is foolhardy.  Remember when “Clemsoning” was a thing?  Now Dabo is a world-beater.  Again, I don’t disagree that with Shea coming back, Gattis, the OL and the home schedule 2019 could be a big year.  I’ve seen you express this sentiment here often.  I’m not trying to quibble with you, but I just wonder how you have reacted 7-8 years ago if you were a Clemson fan.  Would you have “checked out” and given up on Dabo?

We all want to win and are passionate.  But, being year 5 isn’t really the point.  As we saw this weekend with all the recruiting commits, the program is continuing to gain momentum.  Yes, nothing builds momentum like winning championships.  But again, not winning a championship this season doesn’t preclude winning one in the future — Shea isn’t the last talented QB Michigan will have ... in fact, he’s the FIRST (of many to come it seems) under Harbaugh — just as winning one this season doesn’t guarantee another in the future.

I expect one thing and one thing only from Harbaugh & Co : have the team prepared to win.  I think they failed to do that vs. OSU last season.  But, that said, players have to make plays.  Passes cannot be dropped, etc.  I’m very optimistic about the coming season as I think Gattis will add a great deal to the offense preparedness.

I don’t think this year is “playoffs or bust” but I, along with a bunch of other people, will be pretty disappointed if this is another 10-3, loss to osu, poor bowl performance season.

Did you like it? I like Shea, I obviously like passes and catches and Michigan football...  but the video itself I'd say is sub-solid. The song was distracting, ie the intro was DJ Khaled doing what he does, but it was awkward. Then the cut itself was just sorta meh. That said, not meaning to crap all over this fan art, just not my bag.

I'm on board the "gotta beat the buck nuts this year."  They are close to a rebuilding year and our running backs have a whole season to gain experience. Also, we get receivers dialed in on route nuances and we have a experienced OL. Injuries are always the question, but that aside, this is the year for the offense to roll.
