(Semi OT) ESPN video backstory on Mimi Morris (Mike's Brother) - first female GA in Big Ten
http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=35170807
Did not know the story before (do remember vaguely hearing about "first female something something", and seeing her on the sideline during games).
Played co-ed flag football as a youngster (not surprising) and college basketball (also not surprising). Apparently mom helped encourage/push her into trying coaching football.

:oof: epic fail. How do I get a mod to change the title?

Considering they haven't yet seen the thread below to nuke it yet, this could be a minute.
Update: Okay, it was nuked. Now let's get this OP title fixed!

It's a lot more fun as written!

No prob, let's just go back and edit the--oh right.
Also, I would think a story on a UM GA is not OT, semi or otherwise.

My thought was that on gameday (let alone BTCG game day) it might not be fully "on topic"

Though it IS old news. Important but covered before, and mentioned in more than one game broadcast.

I think the video may be new...couldn't tell.

Yes that was my intent, video looked new to me. If timestamp on the link is accurate, posted to ESPN 4 hours ago

An article about a member of our football program is “semi-OT”?
What exactly constitutes on-topic these days?
December 3rd, 2022 at 1:41 PM ^
As a long time lurker and only recent poster on mgoboard I've seen enough people get savaged for not labeling [OT] that I'm erring on the safe side.
December 3rd, 2022 at 1:57 PM ^
Not even a little bit off topic. If it's about a Michigan sports program - players, coaches, alums, administration - it's on topic any time of year.

If only you'd erred on the "safe side" in checking your post's title before submitting it!

Oh man, was there a nuked thread here? Why are people trash?
December 3rd, 2022 at 2:05 PM ^
Hey, we landed in the moon (again)!

I'll put it an even money that Harbaugh hires the first female position coach, unless there already has been one.
