...my son and I walked past Frank Beamer and one of his assistants on the Virginia Tech campus. He was a few blocks away from Lane Stadium and headed in the opposite direction, but you never know what he might have been up to. I should have followed him to see if he committed any minor violations while taking the air.
people like to get excited about. The Sportsline commentator seemed to think that this proved how dumb the rules are, but. . . don't think this anecdote proves it.
Could BE that a sense of proportion is lacking--considering how much crap Michigan took for a little extra practicing. But The JoePa Incident, not so much.
