Saturday Visitors

Paging Magnus...

Do we have an accurate list of visitors for the game this Saturday?  Is Isaac Nauta the biggest name that will be in?  Here are the names I have seen.  This is by no means inclusive.

Isaac Nauta

Dylan Crawford

Lavert Hill

Donnie Corley

Lamar Jackson

I really like this staff's going all out to bring in kids who are long shots or committed to other schools in hopes of flipping them.  Seemed like the last staff tended to let up once a kid committed elsewhere or wouldn't bring them in if they weren't very serious about Michigan.  Nice to see Michigan not affraid to take a chance and it's not like they don't have the money to spend.

that is a massive group of talented recruits (See the Touch the Banner link). If this game ends up with Michigan's D smothering Cook, Burbridge & friends, while the offense grinds the Spartan D into dust, (both of which are probable) this weekend could turn into something even bigger than a much needed win against a rival. Having that many noteworthy guys witness an ass-kicking of MSU could have a ripple effect across the country.

The atmosphere will be electric Saturday afternoon. It will be brisk but not cold, perfect for an October game. The lights will come on as the game winds down. Gameday will be there, along with special guests; hopefully Harbaugh and staff can muster a couple of surprises. This adds up to what is probably the best scenario we could ask for. Here's hoping these young men see firsthand what being a Wolverine is all about and want to be a part of the Team. I only wish I could be there...

I'm not even interested in recruiting anymore. It's an amazing feeling to know whatever high school kids want to come to Michigan will get the best coaching in the nfl or college. The athletes will come. The teachers will teach. We are Michigan. Whoever wants to play for harbaugh I'm confident he can show them the way to the nfl. It's a great feeling!!!

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of tight end action this weekend, maybe even the Jake Butt showoff 2.0 (re: Utah game 2015). Should be good with Isaac in attendance.

My understanding is simply that PSU showed him more love than Michigan. Michigan kind of got lukewarm at one point about whether they wanted to take a kicker in this class or not, but PSU kept on the full-court press. Kids like to go where they're wanted.

Now Michigan seems to have turned it on a little bit, saying that they need someone to replace O'Neill and/or Allen. I think it's a little bit understandable for Michigan to flip-flop a bit, because they didn't really know what they had after spring practices. Now that they've gone halfway through a season and have a better idea of what they have/need, it's not surprising to see them change their priorities a bit.
