We are unwilling to lower ourselves to the level of Jim Harbaugh over his "childhood use" of Twitter! This, of course, has nothing to do with a large portion of the SEC adminstration being unable to read, write, or operate a phone. We could certainly respond, if we chose to. Certainly!

regulate them and they will find away around it, you can over tax them and they will find loopholes, you san say "its never been done before" and that sets them on their way. If the SEC gets the NCAA to stop anything Harbaugh does, I am sure what he will do is come up with something even bigger, he and his celbrity possee could just go down there without the team for example, I forsee a UofM satelite University in every SEC state.

This is great.  Sankey's trying to block Harbaugh from employing a very clean and creative recruiting tactic, while one of his suddenly successful programs is now under investigation for illegal recruiting tactics.  The hypocrisy of the SEC is glorious.

Nope, it has nothing to do with recruiting. It is about the student-athlete's having the time they need to handle the grueling SEC educational workload. What, did you think Da'Shawn Hand went to Alabama for their football program? SEC dominates on the field and in the classroom...

Sankey is a little bitch. However, I can't say that I'm surprised. Harbaugh pushes the envelope. He will do whatever it takes to succeed and that pisses the SEC off because they aren't used to defending their turf this much.

All I have to say is, too bad bitches!!! Go Blue!

generous to Sankey and the SEC. They just don't want us invading their backyard. I'm sure they'd have nothing to say if we were going to San Diego. There is absolutely nothing unusual about practicing during breaks. There are even NCAA regulations that specifically address it. It's not as if we are actually holding extra practices. That seems to be their main complaint, but I wonder if they did any research to see what other teams and sports do. There's also nothing unprecedented about holding practices at a high school or down south in cold weather. I don't think they will be the only Michigan team down there this winter.

He can try to quietly pass legislation to prevent this thing from happening in the future or he can keep trying to out social media Jim Harbaugh which he will lose spectacularly. Fortunately for us, he has chosen door #2. Thanks for the positive exposure Greg

Michigan has an overall very attractive package.  Most SEC schools don't.  That's why he doesn't want recruits to find out.

Spankey just makes himself look like an idiot when he says idiotic things.

BTW Sankey Florida has millions of northerners living there.  It's not your state.

The one problem I see is that this is proving to be a great way for the SEC to divert attention away from Ole Miss. The Florida practices had been known about for over a week before Sankey said anything. Then, the day the report comes out saying that nearly half of ole miss' violations were in the football program, he starts taking about this. Have a hard time believing that's a coincidence

I'm telling you...a lot of people down here in the south wish that Sankey would stop talking about this.  They know Harbaugh is winning the PR battle here.  LOL!
