GOOD NEWS. WE LOVE GOOD NEWS

Saddi was a former player for WMU in the late 90s and actually torched us with a 33 point game for WMU in the 1997-98 season opener.
Article from the Daily on the aforementioned Saddi game in 1997.
"Definitely not the way you want to start," Michigan interim and first-year coach Brian Ellerbe said.
Ha ha. Oh, just wait...
Everything and anything related to Brian Ellerbe as Michigan's coach should be shot, shredded, burned, and flung into the sun. Then destroy and bury whatever case, disk, box, whatever was holding said information.
I mean, forgetting history is bad, but this is Brian Ellerbe - something that will never again be repeated and should be forgotten to history.
Makes me gladdi.
This is really big news, Juwan needs some continuity on this staff to keep things rolling. Hopefully Martelli and Eisley stay as well. With a big 2021 year in state, it's really good to keep Saddi
What else would Martelli do? He stays and is pretty old for a hc job
Martelli is younger than John Beilein. Everyone seems to think Beilein can be a HC again. Martelli could too at a smaller school.
He's away from his wife and home. He saw Juwan off to a good start. It won't be a surprise if he leaves.
He left his wife of 43 years and family back in PA to take the Michigan job. I think he has publicly acknowledged that he would like to get back to them soon. He committed to help Juwan get things off the ground, but it wouldn't be a shock to see him leave sooner rather than later.
Martelli has been candid about wanting to be a head coach again. I’d love to keep him but if he’s here after next season I’d be surprised
He should be staying home...
...social distancing is important.
I was at WMU the same years as Saddi, and got to play against him a bunch of times. Contrary to that article, he was much more of a point guard. Great guy, too. Glad he's at Michigan. Though I would have been just as glad to see him at HC with WMU.
I remember Saddi's Sexton team torching my HS (Okemos) in the district opener. Sexton was #5 in the state and Okemos was a massively overrated #1. It was fairly hyped up locally and I think a Lansing station televised the game, which was not common back then. They absolutely put us in our place. I believe they had another guy (Banks?) that was a D-1 prospect.
The other hyped HS game I recall from growing up involved Randy Kinder running on our football team for seemingly 500 yards.
Not sure why I'm bringing this up. #oldguystories
