Rudock is NOT the first M QB to throw for 250 in 3 straight games
Just thought I'd clear up a confusing stat that was thrown around during the game and after it. Most notably on BTN's postgame show.
Rudock is not the first Michigan QB to throw for 250+ yards in 3 straight games. He is the fourth.
What most likely confused the person flipping through the university record book is the gap in dates between these 250-yard games. In each of the games listed below, the gap you see is actually a bye week.

I only hope that after Jake Rudock leaves, some of you early season haters can admit that Jake was eventually a huge part of our success in Harbaugh's first year. This has been a terrific start to the JH era, and Jake has been a major contributor. More wins helps in recruiting, and the Harbaugh era is blasting off before our very eyes! I for one and VERY glad he transferred here, record or not.

He is one of the four QBs to throw for 250 in three consecutive games so he does have a record. He just isn't the first. That's not his fault.

Good research. But, I'm not wowed by streak records. Suppose a guy wen 400, 400, 249, 400. It's not 3 250+ in a row but I'd argue better.

I haven't seen anyone mention this, but has anyone else noticed that Rudock is the first QB to win 3 straight games while throwing 250+ yards?
WD, you weren't the first to point it out, but still good job on digging it up. It's always interesting to read about players breaking school records.

The UM press agent came down the box when Rudock was around 215 yards and told everyone that if he hits 250 OR 300 that only freshman Henne, Senior Brady and Senior Navarre had done it.
