Bad football? You don't KNOW bad football until you become a Browns fan. Today we managed to lose to the Colts by compounding a bad play (dropping a sure touchdown on a 3rd and inches bomb) with a worse call (punting on 4th and inches) from the Colts 41 - down four with six minutes to go in the game. And we got to 13 points by botching an extra point and then refusing to go for two when we scored in the 3rd quarter (at least the third time this year Shurmer fucked up the two point conversion chart). Then, the cherry on my Sunday sundae of defeat came in the post-game presser when Shurmer said something to the effect of "the punt was the absoutely RIGHT call and anyone who knows football knows that punting in that situation cannot be questioned". Did I mention that in the second quarter the Colts went for it on a 4th and inches from their own 24 yard line leading in the game 14-6? Did I also mention that the Browns JUMPED OFFSIDES on that call giving the Colts a free first down without even running a play?
I just one of the media had the balls to ask Pat "I'm so far over my head as a HC" Shurmer if he thinks the new Browns owner will really wait until the end of the season to fire him or does he think he'll get fired on the bye week.

I grew up in Pontiac and went to a lot of Lions games in the 70's and 80's. I am a vertible connoisseur of bad football.

A fellow Browns fan here..we should get drunk and talk about the few good ol days we had..And i can see Haslam firing Shurmer the second we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs

I decided maybe there's method to the madness and they don't want there to be any possiblity they might miss out on Barkevious Mingo.
You can't ask your players to give anything less than 100% effort but you can ask your coaching staff to...ahem...punt.

Jacksonville Jaguars are terrible, possibly the worst team in the NFL. Oakland ineptitude has enabled the Jaguars to have a lead despite the fact they have more talents like DMC, Moore, etc.
