Thats no surprise, I dont think anyone besides the nutcases Jim Miller and Lynn Henning think its going to be a blowout, I think its tough to predict this game. Can't wait to be there though and lose my voice!

I am dying for Michigan to win this one, but it’s not irrational for a neutral observer to pick the Spartans. Michigan has yet to prove that it can take care of business in these kinds of games. A win tomorrow would go a long way in that direction.

It's too bad they weren't split 3-3-5, amirite?! No? Ok...

pick worries me, as he is usually spot on. gahh.

He's writing articles making excuses how it doesn't matter if we lose the game. He doesn't believe we'll win.

Well, then again, he did pick Notre Dame to beat us.
edit: as noted below. d'oh!

Chait has been pretty well off the mark this season - which just goes to show that prognostication and analysis are two very different skills.

pick in this one.

As bad as out D has been, they really haven't given up a TON of points. It's not like anyone has put 50 on us, or even 40 for that matter.
In 3 of our 5 games, we've allowed 24 points or fewer.
We've allowed 127 total points this year, compared to 117 at this point last year. We're averaging 25.4 points against per game, which isn't as bad as people make us sound.
I guess it's just important to keep things in perspective. This defense is bad, but I don't think it's AS bad as some people are making it sound.

First, can we talk about what a douchebag the AD at Michigan State is?

His comments were so tacky, but have to agree that that's why they're Michigan State.

I missed it and couldn't find it...I'm not exactly good at this internet thing. What did their AD say?
October 8th, 2010 at 3:46 PM ^
Mark Hollis, MSU AD commenting on former players playing for the Colts last week.
MSU Blair White and U-M Mike Hart both playing for Indy today. White 20 yards/Hart -4. I love this week.
Yeah, he's a douchebag. Where's the giant pimp hand of Dave Brandon when you need it.

...that if our D was at least average so far, we'd be favored by more.
