I think Kearney and Gibson have high interest in UM (Kearney has an offer but I don't think Gibson does yet). We have a good shot at Brundidge but Williams is a little more of a longshot. We should have three spots to give out next year and it's possible three of those four could end up being our 2011 class. We are also in on a number of recruits out of state but these names have come up the most because they are in state and it has been easy for them to get to campus for games and unofficial visits.

All four have been on campus. I believe Brundidge numerous times and his outstanding strength probably means he can take it to the rack absorb the hit and still make the shot. Kearney was just hear for elite camp and visited previously coming away extremely impressed. I am surprised that Patrick Lucas-Perry is not on the list. Started as a freshman at Flint Powers and has played in two state championships winning one.

I'd take Zeigler or Prather over any of these dudes though just because they have the ability to fill an immediate need. Need someone other than Darius Morris who can slash it to the hole and dish out to our shooters. There's a good chance that Manny will leave for the NBA after this year with DeShawn which would certainly hurt our team (hopefully just temporarily) in 2010.

I do not like to hear Williams is a long shot. Amir is my top choice for 11 with Kearney a close second and Brundidge a close third, hell I would love to get any of them here and I think Belien pulls in 2.

I am also surprised that PLP is not on here...I thought I had heard somewhere not long ago that many felt Patrick Lucas Perry was the best high school player in the state right now, regardless of class.

PLP has never been rated as highly as these other kids. Physically all 4 of these kids are ahead of PLP and that is a big reason they are rated higher. I am not sure if Belien has offered PLP, I've seen conflicting reports. For a kid entering his junior year of HS. he is one helluva player, this just happens to be a very deep class for hoops talent in Michigan.
