Heisman

Yep and a November Heisman at that.

I don’t know that there’s a better player in the country, or anyone in the country playing better. Wreak havoc on Ohio states 5 star line and it could happen. He’s proved thus far that a double team and a RB can’t stop him.

aidan hutchinson kills people

His numbers are definitely becoming gaudier and since, outside of MSU's Walker, I don't see a slam dunk Heisman candidate. I'd be fully supportive of him being asked to NYC in December for the award ceremony.

In honor of Aidan receiving this awesome award, I'm going to have to eat some Reece's peanut butter cups today.

Going to raid the kids' Halloween stash now!

I still have a few Reece's, Twix, and other candy leftover for myself from Halloween, I always overbuy the candies I love, cuz I get very few trick-or-treaters at my place.

Charles Woodson needs to start talking up this young man as a Heisman candidate. Send him to NY!
November 15th, 2021 at 11:18 AM ^
The coaches need to find a way to get him back on the field after they trade out defensive packages. Penn State used hurry-up offense to keep him from getting back on the field. This worked for a number of productive running plays in a row.

As hard as it is to give Frames credit for something, dude had that idea queued up and ready to go. As soon as they saw Hutch and Ojabo head off for a breather, they went tempo and trapped Upshaw and Welschoff on the field. That's a big reason that first drive worked so well for them. I don't know if Frames expected to trap them on the sideline, or if he was hoping/expecting another illegal substitution penalty, but it worked for him either way.
In the good news portion of this 'Janklin Coaching Moment', we can say definitively that MacDonald learned his lesson from MSU. Now he has another to learn!

is that analyst a moron or what? if he doesn't see a difference in aidan's strength this year vs two years ago, i don't know what he's watching. he also wasn't blowing by OL on nearly every play two years ago.
November 15th, 2021 at 11:38 AM ^
Or apparently that his strength was put on display with the crazy turkish get-up, that was highlighted mind you, by analysts during games not once but twice..
November 15th, 2021 at 11:39 AM ^
Disagree. I think his point was more that Aidan isn’t “blowing up” but has been there since day1. He was VERY complimentary.
November 15th, 2021 at 11:54 AM ^
he basically said he improved from year 1 to year 2 and not since. only his stats improved. i completely disagree with his assessment.

Could not be more correct with this call.
November 15th, 2021 at 11:40 AM ^
Just let me know what week he is NOT the Defensive Player of the Week. That would be news!
Dude is an absolute unstoppable beast...

He and Ojabo have been great all year, but they can take their pro prospects to another level if they are difference-makers against OSU. If they're non-factors like our pass rush was against OSU in 2006—a year when we had an otherwise dominant DL—it'll be another long day for Michigan.

I hope he goes to a franchise that is on the right track rather than Houston or the Jets or something.

"rather than Houston or the Jets or something."
Or the Lions.

Did you miss the progress yesterday? A tie is as good as a win.
November 15th, 2021 at 12:25 PM ^
Dude made some serious Escarole by coming back this year and took our DL pressure to the next level.

PFF gave Erick All the biggest game changing moment of the week.

I've been watching Michigan football at length, since circa 1988?
I feel Hutch is the second best Wolverine defensive player I've ever watched, only behind Woodson.
He may be the second best OVERALL player. Guy is a beast, total package and a alpha team leader.
