I don’t know that there’s a better player in the country, or anyone in the country playing better. Wreak havoc on Ohio states 5 star line and it could happen. He’s proved thus far that a double team and a RB can’t stop him.

The coaches need to find a way to get him back on the field after they trade out defensive packages.  Penn State used hurry-up offense to keep him from getting back on the field.  This worked for a number of productive running plays in a row.

As hard as it is to give Frames credit for something, dude had that idea queued up and ready to go.  As soon as they saw Hutch and Ojabo head off for a breather, they went tempo and trapped Upshaw and Welschoff on the field.  That's a big reason that first drive worked so well for them.  I don't know if Frames expected to trap them on the sideline, or if he was hoping/expecting another illegal substitution penalty, but it worked for him either way.

In the good news portion of this 'Janklin Coaching Moment', we can say definitively that MacDonald learned his lesson from MSU.  Now he has another to learn!

is that analyst a moron or what? if he doesn't see a difference in aidan's strength this year vs two years ago, i don't know what he's watching. he also wasn't blowing by OL on nearly every play two years ago.

He and Ojabo have been great all year, but they can take their pro prospects to another level if they are difference-makers against OSU. If they're non-factors like our pass rush was against OSU in 2006—a year when we had an otherwise dominant DL—it'll be another long day for Michigan.

I've been watching Michigan football at length, since circa 1988?

I feel Hutch is the second best Wolverine defensive player I've ever watched, only behind Woodson.

He may be the second best OVERALL player. Guy is a beast, total package and a alpha team leader.
