Red is already a legend, but this weekend's sweep of a solid Minnesota hockey team makes him just the 4th D1 hockey coach to win 800 games. Here's to Red. I'll be toasting to him tonight. Go Blue!

I was wondering what happened to you, you seemed to have disappeared about a month or two ago without a trace.  I really had no idea until now that "XtraMelanin" was you, although I now realize the posting style is the same. 

Did you somehow get caved?  Can't see you posting something that would make that happen, to be honest.

my posts as quiverfull were invisible to most people.  it happened around thanksgiving and took a while for me to even realize it.  went through a friday posbang with no ticks, no comments, nothing.  thought it was my cyber-breath or something, but i realized even i couldn't see some of my own posts.  i tried a test-post asking folks to let me know if they saw it, and a few did, most didn't.  and though i'm not johnny milquetoast with every post, i'm also far from being one of the flame-throwers around here so it wasn't a bolivian banishment either.  but, i do indeed exist.  happy new year.

assumed from your tagline that you were Quiverfull; since you're not answering, I guess a better assumption is that you know him.  That being the case, encourage him to start posting again, he's one of the best MGoUsers on this board, IMO.

and thank you for the encouragement.  a few folks weren't so impressed in another thread last night/today but it was an interesting back-and-forth.

This team has turned the corner. They're playing with a confidence that I haven't seen in awhile. I saw it up close and personal tn. Proved me wrong. Everyone, please neg me. Negbang this post for me doubting Red earlier this year.

isn't out of the question then.  congrats on #800.

would love to have had the chance to play for him, but he was signed at the end of our senior season.   i'm curious who'll replace him when he's ready to go.  rumored for years to be babcock, but seems like a long shot at this point.

anytime he wanted, kind of like JH left the niners.   he has two sons, both of whom are college quality hockey players.  it is possible the youngest one could come to ann arbor and dad would coach him.  again, long shot, but a fun one.
