Sucks when any young man working hard goes down with an injury like this. I wish him a speedy rehab and recovery. Good luck with everything Keith.

I was really impressed with him a few weeks ago, hopefully it turns out ok

That's a shame. During the Purdue Big 10 network preview, he was interviewed and seemed like a composed and focused young man. I got the impression he would be a force to deal with this year. Last year he had over 1,000 receiving yards, if I recall correctly.
At any rate, I'm with Irish on this. Hope he's ok.

Best of luck Smith, and quick healing.
That said, screw Purdue. I hope Rodriguez brings Denard to the 50 after the game and says, "Look what you made me do."

That's depressing. Also, while I feel bad for the kid, I don't mind bad things happening to Danny Hope. He's so douchey he should coach for MSU.

although i agree that it's terrible for the young man, talking about this here seems like bad karma to me

Saw this live, it looked terrible - McGahee esqe. Best of luck to him.
Definitely the heart and soul of that offense.

He is THE nicest, down to earth football players I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I wish you all could meet this kid. He is just an absolute class act. He also was voted by Big Ten football players to represent the players at the Big Ten Football Kickoff Dinner in Chicago. He has not had the easiest life in the world. His dad is (or was) in the military and its really a shame for this to happen on a day where Purdue honored those who have served our country. God bless Keith and I pray for a quick recovery.
