Dude's been on fire lately, depsite loses, and is out there tonight with fingers taped together, bandaged (& stitched?) eyebrow, still getting his... Wasn't it him with the busted back last year? The guy can be on my team anyday....

I've got a lot more respect for Hummell than I do for pussyboy Kramer on Purdue. Someone should have Nancy Kerrigan'd him last year.

Kramer is my least favorite player in all of college basketball. He's SCRAPPY/GRITTY(!) which roughly translates to "he fouls every possesion and gets away with it." I also despise Kalin Lucas (for his assertion that Wisconsin was a 'dirty' team, which they may be, but kettle meet pot).

I work with a lot of Purdue grads and they love Hummel... and I have to say after watching him play, he's a perfect fit for Purdue and my respect for him as a player has grown tremendously... this is the kind of guy that Bobby Knight used to get at Indiana.

is approaching the record for the longest NCAA career of all time. His nine consective years as a starter on the Purdue basketball team is second only to fellow (former) Purdue B-baller and sharp-shooter Matt Waddell, who played for the Boilermakers for the entire duration of the 1990's. No word yet on whether Hummel has been granted the elusive tenth year of eligibility.

And let us not forget Brian Cardinal, whose career appeared to span the entire disco, big-hair and grunge eras. (Nick Saban's MSU teams seemed to have an endless supply of 6th-year seniors, too.)
