PSU Joins Michigan in Refusing Friday Night Games

Submitted by EastCoast Esq. on

Feelings about the University aside, it's good to have another influential school join in the fight against this terrible idea.

games at all. Do we really need more tv exposure? At the expense of the student athletes time? My god you play on Saturday an then have to turn around and leave on thursday or wednesday? Going to be a scheduling nightmare imo

Pedo St is lucky to be even in the conference. Where they get the balls to try and demand anything is beyond me As for Friday, it's for high school teams and that's what i think of programs and schools that whore out to tv to play on Friday. Possible exception being before classes start (Labor day) and after Thanksgiving

This morning I had to ride in the vehicle of a coworker who listens to 94.9 in Lansing...home of MSU sports. They were talking about this issue, I was just waiting for it, and sure enough there it was..."Hats off to Penn State for taking a stand on this". Can't even acknowledge Michigan did the same thing, I mean how pathetic can you get? Just another addition to the "Why You'll Always Be Little Bro" database.
