No. The NTDP is a collection of the best U18 kids in the Country. They compete really well with a lot of the top teams, with quite a few close losses And are coming off of a win against Minnesota in addition to beating us.

But as an example, 8 players from last year’s USNTDP team were taken in the first round of the 2019 NHL draft. Michigan has a total of 7 players that have been drafted at all. Arguably Michigan’s two best players were on that team last year.

Theyre full of top talent. Age being the only difference, but they’re built to be able to compete against top college teams and beat the struggling ones.

Haha, I've definitely had to bring that up several times when people say the USWNT could beat the men's team. Like, okay, I know the USMNT is EXTREMELY frustrating but let's not kid ourselves. It was the FC Dallas U-15 team, FYI.

And no, this is NOT AT ALL like that.

Yes.  I've had many people at work say that the USWNT can beat the men's team and even make a deep run if they played in the men's WC.  Fact is, the USWNT routinely loses to U15 boys teams over the years and many professional soccer leagues do not have rules that block women from playing...they don't join those higher paying leagues for a reason.

With that said, much respect to the USWNT for what they have done.  I love watching them play.
