Potential referee implication for remaining games

Not to get too tinfoil hat here, but isn’t there a legit chance that the same conference that is attacking their largest member is also going to do so through referees?

I don’t think it’s any secret that since Harbaugh started here the B1G refereeing has been objectively in the favor of opponents. Could it be bad luck or a coordinated effort, no way to know. But if it has been coordinated in the past, and the B1G’s entire narrative is based around the previous games being dominant due to the sign stealing; if UM runs away with this game, that whole narrative dies. To me, the scum in the B1G have to sway the outcome of this game, and what better tool than the refereeing.

Michigan needs to prepare and play from the "the world is against us" mindset, and focus on what they can control.   execute well enough that nobody in a striped shirt gets to determine the outcome of any contest.

I think we'll get screwed somehow.  I'm readjusting my expectations for the season.  I think our players will fight and be motivated, but I fully expect a refshow the rest of the way that will cause us to lose.  Losing Harbaugh is a big deal and it does distract from the task at hand. I may never watch college football again unless Michigan leaves the BigTen.

The thing I worry about is, if Mich wins today and against UMD, then I feel like the officiating will go against us vs OSU because the last thing the B1G wants is for Michigan to win the B1G and the cringey/awkward optics of Tony Pettiti having to give the trophy to Harbaugh.

You know Frames is instructing his DB's and offensive line to hold all game long. I agree with a previous poster who said seeing a lot of no calls on penalties against PSU seems more likely than blatantly trying to hurt Michigans chances by throwing egregious flags.

UM is the least penalized team in the country; I suspect we'll see an uptick in that department in the next 3 weeks even if it isn't "intentional" on the part of the league.

I would say as long as Harbaugh isn’t on the sidelines, the officiating will be meh. However, if Michigan wins hearing next Friday it could get interesting on 11-25…

We should beat tf out of Ped St. They aren't very good. And imo, we're at least a TD better than OSU. Idk if that's the case without Harbs though. I guess we'll kind of see today if we  still prison rape them both so bad that officiating won't matter.
