One could also check out a couple local bars, have a beer, enjoy the local culture .... And ask a bartender. Better yet, check with the hotel, as they often have a finger on the pulse of the city

I invited a bunch of people over to watch the game being that I know a lot of people at Northwestern. Just heard from one person who said she can't come, and heard nothing from anyone else. 

Gonna be real weird when people show up because without RSVPs, ole Bando didn't buy snacks.
