Paul (Pete) Finebaum: Jim Harbaugh Nailed It With This One (Rome Trip)

Submitted by WichitanWolverine on

Just woke up and turned on Sportscenter....Finebaum is impressed with the Rome trip. He said "this is what the college experience is all about." Even the world's biggest turd agrees Harbaugh's innovation on this topic can't be argued.

Michigan taking team to practice in sourthern states full of prospective recurits that tthe SEC desparately want to keep home is bad.

Michigan taking team to practice in far-away country where 99.9% of the counry think football is futbol and where the last recruit to play for a D1 school did so when Taft was in office is good.

Do I have that right?

He only agrees because, as others have pointed out, this doesn't directly bring him closer to SEC territory recruits. He'll be pissed again when Michigan and UCLA host the camp in Georgia

I wasn't aiming my vitriol at you. In my mind, Pete is going to try talking Harbaugh and riding his coat tails any chance he gets, and this is no different. The only reason he gives "praise" is that he knows everyone would see through his BS if he tried to decry this trip. Just wait, he'll be spouting more idiocy once this blows over. If you choose to actually listen to him, that is.

but appreciate you posting and glad to know he finally found an ounce of credibility in himself and something good to say about Coach Harbaugh and the Michigan football program.

I have banned ESPN in my house, unless I have to.... They suck. Like when the Sunday Night Baseball crew tried to "teach" its viewers that "its OK" when the "younger players" act like fools , like most NFL players do.
