OT(ish): 0-7 Texas Southern Upsets Florida in MBB
If you'll recall, TSU -- before tonight, 0-7(!!) on the season -- was our outmatched, but full of heart, first round opponent in the tourney last season.

And they did it going away.
It has been a crazy year - Duke lost as a #1, Gonzaga lost twice and had as much trouble with Tarleton St. as UM did, UM has lost 3 games and is out of the rankings, etc. Feels like it's going to be one of those years where every #1 seed has some fatal flaw and we'll get a weird March Madness.

I don’t see a lot of weaknesses with Purdue. I have a feeling they are going to run away with the B10 similar to the way we did last year

This is normal in basketball. People freaking out over the season so far forget about our game against Oakland last season, or charlotte in 2013, or savannah state or Ohio in 2012, EMU in 2014, NJIT that same season I believe, etc. it’s the nature of the sport. Upsets happen. The good news is so far we don’t have a bad loss. Win the next 5 games and we will be right back on track!

Why stop at five? Take it to seven, with the Maize-out game v MSU the Saturday before CFB championship game. Sparty as an appetizer, someone else as a main course, the way it should be.

Agreed but that team was ravaged by injuries. The point is anyone can beat anyone on college basketball. The rules don’t really apply on an individual game. I like to look at 10 game stretches to evaluate a team or a specific player. One game means absolutely nothing

uh no. it's one thing to lose a game but to lose to a complete garbage team is another story. in 2014 we lost to garbage teams and had a terrible team. it says something.

Florida lost to Texas Southern by 15
Texas Southern lost to Louisiana Tech by 27
La Tech lost to Alabama by 29
Alabama lost to Iona by 4
Iona lost to Belmont by 7
Belmont lost to Dayton by 2
Dayton lost to Austin Peay by 6
Austin Peay lost to TCU by 17
TCU lost to Santa Clara by 19
Santa Clara lost to Fresno St by 7
Fresno St lost to Cal by 8
Cal lost to UNLV by 3
UNLV lost to Michigan by 13
So, expect a 160 point win over OSU. Maybe 157 if it's on the road.
