If i didn't have to study, Unibroue - Trois Pistoles
OT - What are you drinking tonight?
content on that?
Not very strong... but I'd recommended it. Definitely an English IPA; more malty than hoppy, bitter but not 'tangy'.
bells hop slam?
only when I can get my greedy, hop-lovin' hands on it. Since it's a seasonal, not all that easy to get ahold of, but GREAT stuff.
ALMOST as good as Founders Centennial IPA. Actually, maybe it is as good.
I'm from Grand Rapids and almost always go with Founders. But HopSlam never disappoints. I hate when the uneducated rave about Oberon, but have never tried their Two-hearted or Hopslam.
Awe dude I got my fridge stuffed full of that stuff for the Wisoncsin game. Cheers
some combination of water and ice tea : (
But meeting my wife at the bar in a couple of hours - she was already instructed to order me a Smithwick's with a side of Tolzien-tears.
Maybe you should focus on getting your work done so you can leave the office.
Don't worry I got very little done this week, and this was a main source of procrastination.
Premature rage is building going into OSU week.
"Tell me you're out, and you're still mgoblogging on your phone."
I think I hear that every Friday and Saturday night from my girlfriend.
As soon as i got to my destination, 2 vodka and lemonades, and 2 shots of jager. Feeling great and ready for tomorrow
When I'm done with work probably a Speakeasy Prohibition Ale
Dogfish Head 90 IPA with some Founder's Dirty Bastard in reserve
Try a Short's Huma-Lupa-Licious
Six schlitzeses...ehhh whatever's free.
Open bar dude!
damn you all.
The Wiscy Chaser
It'll hit you harder than you're expecting.
nyquil, thats what Jamarcus Russell drinks.
As for myself Spiced Rum and Egg nogg.
Because I am working. Damn.
I'm pretty partial to the big 3 West Michigan micro-brews - Bells, Founders, Shorts.
Founders got the call for this weekend.
Gin. Because I like it? No. Because it's what I have in the house and I'm chasing this sore throat.
Two Hearted. Picked some up on the walk home tonight here in Chicago, so glad I waited until Bell's distributed here to make the trek west, which seems to be some kind of post-graduation requirement when they hand you your UM diploma...
Great Lakes Brew co. Edmund Fitzgerald porter. PBR later if I plan on getting belligerent.
I like PBR. In cans. Dirty 30 style. Give me that, and a bonfire.
H2o, with a Coke Classic chaser!
But I'm loco for my Four Loko
I too consumed four loko tonight. 3 cans. as well as large quantities of PBR and Popov. College is great, but it might kill me. And now I am just realizing I have to be up in 4.5 hours to pre-game. Damn these noon games...
Amrut Fusion single malt whiskey
in a can (what it comes in, not where I'll be savoring it)
Gonna start with a bottle of either Short's Bloody Beer or Bell's 25th Anniversary Ale and then I will open the tap on some Crooked Tree.
Whiskey, which I love and thats the bad news. Filed graduation paperwork today for my MBA...the very good news!
Abita Turbodog. Last weekend of calm drinking before finals nix any alcohol consumption.
Great Lakes Brewery. Apparently I need to clean the fridge--I'd forgotten it was in there.
Rasslin' practice in the morning. Ask me again at 11:00 tomorrow morning.
In my ride.
I would be enjoying some delicious Tanqueray and Tonic but three ChemE lab reports due before Thanksgiving Break are holding me back. Football tomorrow will make me feel better.
working on some Michelob lights.
Hendrick's and Tonic
best gin for gin and tonic yes
For a gin gimlet, go with tanqueray rangpur
Just regular old miller lite
never forget that.
may it never run out.
Buy it while you can, they are taking all the caffine that lets you drink more and not pass out goodness..and I just discovered the cranberry lemonade one too!
I don't see how people can like four loko. I mean it gets the job done, but it tastes godawful. I'd rather do straight vodka shots than a four loko. And worst of all it was created by OSU grads.
Cheddar Ale chaser.
I'm getting all jacked up on Mountain Dew.
I am drinking HARD EDGE...on draft. GO BLUE!
Buffalo Trace Bourbon - on the rocks. Possibly a few Leinie's later on (Winter variety pack in the fridge).
a Casa Vieja Rioja with dinner, back to the Glenmorangie now with my banana split.
Molson from a can. Wrapped in a "your village called and they're missing their idiot" koozie.
the dog ate the "who farted?" koozie.
Jack Daniels with a Budweiser chaser
Jack Daniels with a Budweiser chaser
Jack Daniels with a Budweiser chaser
Wood and Barrel Aged Strong Stout and a rare porterhouse steak.
I too, am at work.
It's a bitch, ain't it.
Yes, Modelo. Negra for me.
This is my choice as well -- I love the Bell's seasonals.
Saw that on the shelves the other day. I definitely need to pick some up. Been far too long since I've had one.
24 oz Steel Reserve. $1.95 plus deposit It's a recession Bitches
Oak cask conditioned beer from Scotland. I highly recommend this beer if you can get your hands on it.
Nice little Chardonnay out of box.
What? I'm bigger than most of you, so eat it.
Big House Red has fallen off.
water. maybe with a little bread. good times.
The best way to drink water is to not drink it or anything else for a really long time....and then drink it. So good.
Had a couple Shiner Bocks. Picked up some Four Loko as a backup plan, that's probably going to wait for Badger Destruction Saturday.
But, my wife bought a sack of limes from Sam's Club. Now, I am preventing scurvy with Caipirinhas and Pacifico.
quick and to the point...gets it done.
Oban & rocks. Side of Bud Light. Class act.
.....a stiff Manhattan(s) over crushed ice
Evan Williams and Busch Light. The life of a broke college student...helllll yeah.
Whatever it is, drink another for me...got wisdom teeth taken out today so I can't do anything tonight.
but I am doing everything in my power so that I can yell and scream as much as possible tomorrow at noon.
A Mexican style ale (a mock Corona recipe) made with Michigan-grown hops. I brewed it in July and kegged it in October. Not one of my best efforts, but very drinkable indeed. GO BLUE!!!!
Bell's Third Coast Old Ale tonight
Four Loko tomorrow
For those in Plymouth, the beverage of the eve is Liberty Street IPA. 6.7% alcohol and only $4.50 a pint during Happy Hour.
I'm drinking Peroni Nastro Azzurro, it's from Italy. Great tasting beer.
Otherwise known as . . .
Pride of Railway City Brewing Company.
Gotta come to St. Louis to get this stuff... pretty good as far as seasonals go.
Since I live in L.A. & am attending a U-M viewing party at a bar and have to get up early, I decided to stay "dry" tonite & save my drinking for tomorrow at the bar...hopefully, toasting a "signature" victory for our beloved Maize & Blue...and continuing all night at home, LOL!!
Favorite drink is soju (Korean rice wine) & orange juice...but I'll be going with Captain Morgan & Coke and a shot or two, depending on how the game is going.
Coca Cola at the moment, but the is one Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat left in the fridge that sounds delightful. Trying to decide if I want to watch TV with it tonight or put it down with breakfast tomorrow before the game.
Trying something new tonight... McSorley's Irish Pale Ale
You've got to go to McSorley's, in the East Village. That's a party.
Started with Vodka and Diet 7-up when I got home from work and made pizza with my 4 and 2 year olds. After 3 of those, and a Shrek movie, we put the girls to bed and then my wife and I made Vodka Lemonade "Martinis" while watching Modern Family and 30 Rock on DVR. Wife went to bed and I am now drinking a couple Miller Lites while watching Family Guy, Boise St, and the end of Bulls Mavs all at the same time.
and raspberry flavored soda with a splash of cranberry juice and lime twist. It's low calorie (because I'm old) and it's tight.
From Boulevard's Smokestack Series. Still like the Long Strange Trippel the best, though.
Mac 12 has served me well over the years.
This says something about my economic status
Guinness of course! A fine Irish drink for a fine badger beatdown! GO BLUE!
Grants Scotch on ice, love the triangular bottle....whiskey is good too for the price...
