OT - Wharton Inter-MBA Vegas trip?
Greetings on a Sunday! Is anyone in this fine community part of Ross (or another top MBA program) and going to the Wharton Inter-MBA Vegas trip this coming weekend? If yes, could be cool to meet up amongst other MBAs and copious amounts of liquor.

This will sound harsh, but I have an MBA from a top school and the idea of spending an entire weekend, in Vegas no less, with a bunch of self-important, group-thinked to death MBAs sounds very unappealing...

Unrelated, but am going to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana next week with the UM Alumni group hosted by George Siedel, professor at Ross B School. I don't know him but I sure am looking forward to the trip. Sounds more interesting than Vegas.

Last year, we had 400 people attend the event, and we anticipate more people to attend this year! Clubbing, after-party clubbing, and day party clubbing with MBAs from all across the country - what more could you ask for? :)A lot more. I could ask for a lot more.

I'd start with asking to stay home.
About this sounds awful and douchey.
My insufferable MBA story: During business school, I was at a party standing around talking to some classmates I didn't know that well. One of them leaves for a minute and returns with a round of (terrible) shots proclaiming, "Boys, boys...we all got MBAs coming our way! Drink up!"
Ughhhh.

No wait this all adds up.
I'd save your liver for Disorientation Week.

Loved the MBA rugby tournament at Duke, great weekend, great games and lots of fun... until you play the Irish or Aussies and get crushed ;-)
