My family educational roots are at both UM's—Michigan and Mizzou. I understand that Mizzou is not a sexy choice for admission to the Big Ten, but I think that they offer a nice package of football, basketball, and baseball programs of good quality, and I'd love to see the Tigers in Michigan Stadium and the Wolverines at Faurot Field. With this development, it might be inevitable that Missouri will make another push to leave.

Beebe is playing three card monte/shell game with money? I feel bad for CFB tradition. A&M and Oklahoma to the SEC? Texas will be independent with ND? This is turning into a shitshow. I'm so glad the Big Ten is stable, can you imagine OSU/UM splitting up for money?

I heard A&M is also pissed because they lost a tooth, and Dan Beebe told them that if they put it under their pillow when they went to bed, the tooth fairy would come and give them a shiny quarter.

But when they woke up in the morning, there was no quarter there.  There was just a stupid tooth.

This is a band-aid on the stabbing that the Big 12 got. My theory: I think that the Big 12 survives long enough for Texas to get its Longhorn Network going, at which point it goes independent.  Texas is a strong enough brand right now that it could survive on its own with the revenue from the 2nd most populous state in the country. At that point, the Big 12 collapses, A&M and OU go to the SEC, Missorui goes to the Big Ten, and the rest of the schools get picked up by the MWC or Sun Belt.
