Casey Mize on the mound in his 2nd start for Detroit after pitching well in his Major League debut last week.  Mills gets the start for the Cubs.

Touched 97 MPH on the radar gun and recorded five of his seven outs via the strikeout.

Also threw a first-pitch strike to nine of the 12 hitters he faced, hopefully they leave him in the rotation for the rest of the season and he can make six or seven more starts.

Norris has looked pretty good out of the bullpen this year, too!

He’s looked good again IMO. A little unlucky with the balls in play. But you can clearly see how good his stuff can be 

And as I type that, Bote crushes one 450 feet

Irrational thought is a current requirement for being a Tiger fan. My Tiger fandom is on hold. I am  5 years older than Al (Avila). I will need to live about 5 years past his death, retirement or firing to see this team return to contention.
