high stakes coinflip. not too keen on that rule.
"Play hard and with great effort"
First QB in history to throw two career ending interceptions.
thinks Favre's retirements are too much.

"brand new ball game" my ass... the game isn't over once the first team scores.
The Saints don't deserve to win this one. They've fumbled almost as much as the Vikings.. they've just been fortunate enough to have the ball bounce back into their arms..
don't anything stupid!
Colston - hit the pine - need to make that catch!

this game was a few bounces away from being a shutout by the Vikings
You wouldn't by any chance happen to be a Vikings fan would you?
I'm not a vikings fan..
look at the stat line and get back to me.. the only reason this game is tied is because of the turnover differential. NO is +4 right now and should be maybe +1 if it wasn't because of pure luck...
that the Vikes have been turnover prone.
AP is a well known fumbler, and they have Gunslinger.
Turnovers will kill you in this game.

oh I know.. that's why I mention the differential. The lucky part is all the times they fumbled only to have the ball bounce back to their players.
Again, look at the statline w/o looking at the TOs.. you'd think that only through a miracle would the saints win that game..(which is what happened)
Just a post ago, you said the Saints had fumbled just as much as the Vikings. Just that they were lucky enough to have the ball bounce back into their arms. You call it luck, I call it not being the turnover machine that the Vikings have been this year.
They recovered 2 of their own fumbles no? The Vikings didn't recover any of their own. That would have been a +2 TO differential if the Saints hadn't recovered. Almost all of the Saints' points came off of turn overs right? Or were we watching different games?
According to gametracker (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/gamecenter/live/NFL_20100124_MIN@NO) the Vikings recovered two of their own fumbles.
Peterson even managed to recover one of his own fumbles, when there were no other Vikings in the area, IIRC. A lot of black jerseys, and he managed to leap on it.
Michigan Resurgent? Michigan Resurgent!
The beatings will continue until the uniforms improve!

If I recall, Favre signed a 2 year contract. Can anyone confirm/deny?
Favre signed a 2 year 25 million dollar contract

I apologize my computer loves to shout! Is there a way to delete these double posts? I checked the faq board.
He did sign a 2 year contract. But I expect that he will undergo his traditional off-season ritual of retiring, missing training camp, then unretire and play again next season.

will actually win the Super Bowl?
I know its a nice story and all, but the way their defense played today won't cut it against Manning.

Will a kicker once again be the bane of a team's existence?
