OT: Son of mooseman is Blue!
Actually, not quite. In reqruiting parlance he has received an offer from the School of Engineering. Not sure if he will commit. Still, proud of possible second generation Wolverine and possible excuse to travel from NC to AA to visit him on Saturday afternoons in the fall.

At first I thought our 21 year old starting OG somehow had a bastard child at the age of three.

I thought this was a reference to Superfan, for some reason.

So I wonder...when they recruited him, did they click on "Coaching Style," "Coach Prestige," or "Location" as the pitch?
December 18th, 2008 at 11:45 AM ^
Definitely "Playing Style". Moosemen jr. is all about the spread engineering

North Carolina to Michigan may be a hard sell. I plan to take him up in a month or so. That way he can see what winter would be like. Mooseman has a little Pussman in him. That's why he lives in the south. I don't know if I transferred this gene to the boy.

Which among us men are not about the spread engineering?

Can he play qb at all? Just kidding! Good luck wherever he chooses to go.

But the only school he applied at which his athletic prowess may be displayed is Caltech if you know what I mean.
Thanks.

He's good at missing extra points, too? :D
December 18th, 2008 at 6:47 PM ^
I'm thinking he's talking about a different school than the one that played Wisconsin. He's talking about Cal Tech, not Cal Poly.
December 18th, 2008 at 8:14 PM ^
Yes, very different. Cal Poly is a pretty good school with D1 athletics. CalTech is a world renowned school on par with MIT who plays D3 athletics. Cal Poly is in San Luis Obispo and CalTech is in Pasadena.

wow...I can't believe you have an 18 year old, what with all of the "skin suit" stuff...lol.
December 18th, 2008 at 6:06 PM ^
He was born at UM Hospital when I was a grad student.

dude, lay down your backhand and tell him to goto michigan. he won't regret it. best years for sure.
December 18th, 2008 at 6:08 PM ^
But unfortunately, it will be his call. I just get to pay for it.
December 18th, 2008 at 8:27 PM ^
How many stars would you give your son?
December 18th, 2008 at 8:43 PM ^
If engineering students == football players, does that make Brian our own Desmond Howard?
December 18th, 2008 at 9:12 PM ^
It would technically make Brian an OMG shirtless recruit. However, after seeing his picture in the Daily I'm not sure this is the best comparison.

Some think he may lack top end nerdiness.
An LSA applicant was seen catching up to him on the Math II SAT.
