OT - NHL Bracket Challenge MGoBlog Pool
Good people,
With the greatest playoffs in all of sports beginning this week I figured I'd create an MGoBlog pool on the NHL website's bracket challenge. Remember, it's a straight divisional and conference bracket rather than the re-seeding the NHL had in the past, which makes for less complicated picking.
Enter your picks, enjoy the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and feel free to laugh at the Kings and the Bruins out on the golf course.

They aren't dbags, they are physical they have some talent and they finally have a couple cups. They are always fun to watch in playoffs idk why ppl are so happy to see them out the playoffs won't be the same without them
I actually agree. Nothing against them and I was happy they won. It's just nice to see that even the best teams in recent history can't put together the consistency of the Wings. It makes it that much more impressive to me.
I generally like the Kings..may be my favorite western conference team.
Hopin the blues take the west. Only team that plays like its the 90's still

Jonathan Quick may be the biggest douche bag goalie in the league. But in general, the rest of that team plays it right. I think this is the Ranger's year assuming they can get through the first round or so quickly.

I would have +1 you for that. I love the Wings, but I will watch any series. Add in a slew of OT games and I'm set. The first round of the NCAA tournament is probably the best two day event of any postseason tournament, but the entire Stanley Cup Playoffs can't be beat.
Whoever is 'HighPitchEric'...
Cheers.
Great choice.
Had a good laugh at the memories.
I'm Kelly Clarkson...

My 'Shorts: Good Humans' says Cheers.
If your not sure, it's a beer made by SHORTS. Its Good, but not life changing. 7.5 out of 10.
Other than that, GO BLUE! Bought a new pennant from 1930's today representing UofM. Can't wait to get it and put it up.
I just entered.
I figured every pool needs some comic relief.
I have a gambling problem.
Nothing like the Stanley Cup Playoffs! No other championship can compare to what it takes to win the cup. Good luck to all the Wings fans here. Would love to see a Detroit-Chicago final. Lets Go Hawks!!!!!
Put the razors away for a while boys, let that beard grow!!

Sorry for the double post...
I fully expect to do terribly, and I had to hold back a certain amont of Wings homerism, but I am in this league now. We shall see.
Thanks for the distraction, incidentally, OP. Hockey is admittedly a weaker sport for me when it comes to knowledge (just enough to be dangerous, I like to think), so I enjoy the exercise.
Full Wild homerism all the way through. Might as well, we're playing as good as anyone right now and have the most points in the league since the all star break.
And in full homer-mode.
I am in. $@!#% OSU (Fuck OSU)
Heres hoping the Red Wings blow my bracket by winning it all and proving anyone can win it. All you have to do is qualify .
I am all in for Michigan (NHL play-off pool).
Wish I could see the Wings moving past the second round but I cannot, given a goalie controversy and two months of poor play.
I see Mr. Hagelin hoisting the hardware!
Double post to shatter credibility before play-offs even start.
Thanks to OP for setting this up by the way.
As a Bruins fan it kills me to pick to Habs to win it all, but a Canadian team has to win the Cup at some point, eh?

Not while Bettman is commissioner.
Don't have much NHL knowledge but I'll take a shot at it.
Love this time of year. Got the Rangers winning it all over the Blues
I predict Jimmy Howard sprouts an extra pair of arms and the wings win it all.
I'm rooting for whomever plays Shitsburgh.
......In
Hoping for the Cup in Hockey Town but it will end upin Montreal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but the Wings picked a bad time to have a goalie controversey where neither guy is playing that well. LGRW
Playoffs are gonna be great. Outside of the Wings, really excited for the Montreal-Ottawa series. Sens are so hawt right now and Montreal is a good team. Going 7 games IMO. All the Western Conference matchups are pretty tantalizing too. Glad 5 Canadian teams made it, so will be watching games on TV with some pretty intense atmospheres. I haven't watched a ton this season other than the Wings, so I'm pretty much guessing in my bracket. Either way, most entertaining postseason in sports aside from the NCAA hockey tournament IMO
