So what does the Big Ten know that all these other leagues / College Football Conferences don't?  I just don't get it.  Kills me not seeing Michigan play football.

Damn Schlissel he wanted to make a political statement and made a decision way before he had to and completely screwed the B10. Can’t wait for him to be fired.

Not sure all of what the Big Ten knows, but it does know that Virginia-Virginia Tech had to cancel. That MLB teams with many few people involved have had to cancel. That the NBA's in a bubble, and expelled those who violated quarantine.

The B1G also knows that Notre Dame is playing right now!  Does a cancelled game here and there confirm the quick decision to cancel the fall season in early august was the right one?  ND playing and VT not playing today are both anecdotes. We don’t know who is right.  But I argue that cancelling the season in early August instead of waiting and seeing how things develop was unnecessarily rash. B1G wanted to be the smartest guy in the room.  As more and more teams play and as testing improves, the B1G is not looking as smart as they think they are.  But don’t dare to challenge those arrogant college presidents on a sports blog!

Well they’re pros who are formally compensated for their time and services so it’s easier to tell them to go get their asses on the field/court/ice.

But yeah it certainly doesn’t make Michigan’s situation any less frustrating. If the SEC, ACC and Big XII all make it through the season with minimal issues, then guys like Mark Schlissel will be crucified. They won’t even be able to show their faces on their own campuses, and will be responsible for millions of dollars of lost revenue.

Oh, they are not going to like this...

No getting around it. Everyone was 100% pro-football until the rumor that Ryan Day said Ohio was going to 'hang 100' on us, got out. Now everyone is really scared of COVID.

Walked my dog around the local High School yesterday. There had to have been 300 people in total. Full football practice, soccer practice ' tennis courts jam packed, and the band on several fields. Did some needed houseWork, then turned on the tv only to see Notre Dame playing Made me very sad to realize we could have played
