OT- NCAA Football '13 for $45 on Amazon

Submitted by mds315 on

Amazon is offereing NCAA Football 13 for $45 pre-order for 360 and PS3.  It also has a pre-order price gurantee, meaning if the price drops before the game is shipped you will pay that price.

EDIT:

had no idea the link was bad, here is a correct one:

I haven't purchased one of these games in about seven years, but I might need to at this price. Plus, to play with a senior Denard and ensure he wins a Heisman and national title would be pretty awesome.

So I preordered this for $60 a few weeks ago, so is that going to be reduced to $45?

EDIT - just checked my amazon order and it automatically reduced it to $45.  sweeeeet

Nice Amazon affiliate link. Neg is mine.

tag=buckey09-20&camp=.... Either you're accidently making everyone who buys something from Amazon in the next 24 hours donate to BuckeyePlanet or a buckeye fan is trying to make a quick buck.

I finally got sick of paying $60 for a few bug fixes, this will be the first year in 4 or 5 I don't buy the game. It would be the only game I keep the 360 for, so I'm going to leave it for my brother when I go off to college.

Im glad PS3 finally lowered their price. It was originally just for xbox. I saw an article the other day that stated more and more games will be sold for lower prices in the future. I hope this is true because Im sick of dishin out 60$ a game.

Game screenshot of what appears to be a 6th year senior Kelvin Grady catching a pass against Ohio, the mouse-over text reads "A Michigan State receiver catching a pass against the Ohio State secondary".

Does anyone have any info about the PS4 and the Xbox 720? Should I bother waiting for those next gen consoles?

Flextronics (makers of Xbox and Xbox 360) is already working on something for Microsoft. It's likely dev kits for the new Xbox. Which would probably mean a 2013 release.

The other rumor is that it could be a new slimmed down 360. But I find that unlikely this late in it's life cycle and with the S already out there.

All I can say is this game better have Michigan rated at an A+ for facilities. I get so pissed everytime I'm recruiting in NCAA '12 and it only shows an A. I don't see how you can get any better than having the largest stadium in the country and the most indoor practice space of any football team in the world.

That and the whole ninja linebacker thing.

And it would be nice if EA sports could get with the program and stop using the split M.

totally agree but this years should be better. New scoreboards, and all the jerseys we wore should be on this game. According to EA, uniforms have to be submitted to them by either the last week of march or the first week of april to make it on the game. So we are good there. Cant find anything about new player appearance changes like dreads or newer adidas apperal but i am looking. Also expect the worst with recruiting features like facilities and what not. ESPN sponsors this game and we know what that means.

I really want to get this game but know it will inevitably end up in 1 or more broken controllers, just as NCAA '12 did for me.  Damn the emotional highs and lows of an NCAA Football season.
