Eater X with: 44 hot dogs

Apparently Kobayashi had no contract but he competed at the exact same time from a different location and reportedly broke the world record with 69 in 10 minutes. Unofficial right now, but this is a very interesting development.

I don't think it's that he is banned.  They said he just hasn't signe the contract the past two years which makes it seem, to me at least,  that it is more on hime than MLE

Pretty good hot dogs, but I don't think I could eat more than 10 at a time. Now, give me Dearborn Sausage, Winter's, Kowalski or Koegel's, (even Vienna Beef) I'd give those two a run for their money.

Oh, and you've got to go with natural casing hot dogs. That "snap" when you bite into them is tremendous.

But, no ketchup.

Yep, but instead of bread and circuses we've got hot dogs and Wrestlemania. Otherwise, it's accelerating decrepitude. "Idiocracy" was optimistic in being set 500 years in the future; I'd say it's no more than 75 years away.

So...I'm not the only one nauseated by these things? I don't think they ought to be banned or illegal. I just find them incredibly disturbing.

The 2nd place guy in Nathan's wore a headband. The headband had HENDERSON written over it, a reference to Michigan alumni Randy and Jason Sklar's podcast.

So shoutout to Michigan alumni today, didn't notice it at first
