*GT-R
The Mustang GT-R is a good choice for Detroit Iron. Best chassis set-up ever on a ‘stang (it actually handles) and that flat-plane crank V-8 is a honking bad ass motor.
Sweet looking car. But do not show this to WD.
I wish WD would be reinstated. I miss the guy and all his wackiness.
He can always rejoin on his own, much like XM did. Also, he was alleged to have had several burner accounts, so maybe he is back already.
I think we would know if he was. The downside of WD, like most smart kids, was his inability to disguise his knowledge behind humility.
Granted, it's been some time now and some young people mature nearly overnight.

Isn't WD on the backside of his 20s now?
I mean I appreciate the leadership 101 playbook stuff of giving someone the benefit of the doubt and always trying to assume the best.
But the mental gymnastics some of you all go through to justify the behavior of someone who is fundamentally an asshole is something else.
Which, ironically, could be said of the person who booted WD as well.
Not an apples to apples comparison.
XM didn't go all scorched earth on the way out the door like WD did.
Good riddance I say. We still get plenty of softball and gymnastics posts post-WD as before but with none of the drama.
Dude I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't know if it's an age thing, or a me thing, but sweet car and helmet.
If i could upvote you 100 times, would I somehow unlock the keys to understanding this too?
It is a video game - Gran Turisimo 7 - would have been useful to include in the OP
liveries = custom paint schemes or designs for his car and helmet
GT7 = Gran Turismo 7 which is an arcade-style racing game with ultra-realistic graphics.
B = No idea, guessing it means he races the daily B class races online.
So........this is not a real car?
Either it's a car but not real, or it's real but not a car. Your pick.
As the French artist Rene Magritte (who would have a had a field day with NFT's and the like) might have put it: "Ce n'est pas une voiture."
Speaking of bringing someone up to speed, what is the appeal of a NFT?
You're buying a URL! That's it.
Which, isn't going to be exclusive once Shor's algorithm can be solved in less than 320,000 years. Which the Chinese are close to doing.
It's not real in the sense that there isn't a Nissan GT-R in the real world with that livery. However, the Nissan GT-R, which that rendering represents, is a real car.
It used to be called the Skyline GT-R, but Nissan has since split the Skyline and GT-R as separate models.
Isn't Gran Turismo supposed to be more sim-style racing, and Forza is more arcadey?
I guess they do call it a sim. I consider iRacing a true sim, GT is much closer to a sim than Forza.
Thank you Trublu and BinDC. I now have words that have meaning, and I should be able to say I understand, and I am not intending to belittle video games and people who play them (I used to play Zelda all day long), but every bone in my body is fighting my mind from truly accepting and understanding this.
I can only find the strength to say, Go Blue, cool design, to each their own. While I hope my kids never play games like this, I should probably learn to cringe/smile and feint interest. So here, here to trying to start.
Not a terrible post for the off-season, I guess?
Genuinely curious why you feel like you would cringe through your kids interest in this game? You say that you used to enjoy Zelda. Why would it be difficult to enjoy semi-realistic auto racing and watching them build/customize their racing vehicles?
Hey Lewan, good question. I just don't value most virtual experiences and have seen so many kids obsessed with their devices. We live in a city in very beautiful green lush place extremely close to the ocean, resorts, mountains and rivers/lakes close to exciting and varied cultures. I want them to be out and enjoy the real world and real people as much as possible. I feel i played too many video games (also movies and TV shows) and probably developed that habit being stuck in small town, northern, cold Michigan winters.
Now is the point where I make Michiganders happy- I did gain immeasurably in my patience, toughness and persistence from that same environment. Many of my friends (even my wife) mention these as my best personality traits. It is worth considering if providing my children with such a soft and comfortable upbringing might devoid them of the same struggles that shaped my personality, but as an active and caring father, I will do what is best for them in the here and now...
Nowadays eSports are part of the secondary curriculum in a lot of schools. So there is a potential real world benefit being instilled along with those personality traits you mention.
A livery is the place where you rent a canoe so you can spend a day on the Au Sable. The rest should be fairly self-explanatory.
I'd go with this one...
Is that a Kia?
Sweet. Where do I pre-order, and do they accept MGoPoints as a down payment?
Good point. When do we get to monetize our points?
Also, do I get extra points for using "point" in a comment?

Sounds reasonable. +1 from me.
But then again, that basically sounds like a posbang thread too :)
Nissan GT-R? Nice street car, but for the track, the AWD drive-train causes it to plow. Stingray or ZO6 would show you tail lights all day. ;-)
Nevertheless? You've designed a beautiful ride.
Does AA still have those airport cabs painted like the winged helmet? I saw them all the time when I was there.
Sorry if the photos are too big, I’m not savvy.
Only sentence I understood but the pictures are awesome!
I for some reason was expecting something about fish, guess I got livery and hatchery mixed up.
i don't know anything about anything here, but I love the car and helmet. Awesome. thanks for sharing
