OT: My Michigan GT7 liveries

Submitted by offskooring on May 15th, 2022 at 10:52 AM

These are my first livery creation on GT7. The GR-R is the car I use in this week’s daily race B. Not great payouts, but man are daily races exciting! Sorry if the photos are too big, I’m not savvy.

The Mustang GT-R is a good choice for Detroit Iron. Best chassis set-up ever on a ‘stang (it actually handles) and that flat-plane crank V-8 is a honking bad ass motor.

Granted, it's been some time now and some young people mature nearly overnight.

Isn't WD on the backside of his 20s now?

I mean I appreciate the leadership 101 playbook stuff of giving someone the benefit of the doubt and always trying to assume the best.

But the mental gymnastics some of you all go through to justify the behavior of someone who is fundamentally an asshole is something else.

Which, ironically, could be said of the person who booted WD as well.

Thank you Trublu and BinDC. I now have words that have meaning, and I should be able to say I understand, and I am not intending to belittle video games and people who play them (I used to play Zelda all day long), but every bone in my body is fighting my mind from truly accepting and understanding this.

I can only find the strength to say, Go Blue, cool design, to each their own. While I hope my kids never play games like this, I should probably learn to cringe/smile and feint interest. So here, here to trying to start.

Not a terrible post for the off-season, I guess?

Hey Lewan, good question. I just don't value most virtual experiences and have seen so many kids obsessed with their devices. We live in a city in very beautiful green lush place extremely close to the ocean, resorts, mountains and rivers/lakes close to exciting and varied cultures. I want them to be out and enjoy the real world and real people as much as possible. I feel i played too many video games (also movies and TV shows) and probably developed that habit being stuck in small town, northern, cold Michigan winters.

Now is the point where I make Michiganders happy- I did gain immeasurably in my patience, toughness and persistence from that same environment. Many of my friends (even my wife) mention these as my best personality traits. It is worth considering if providing my children with such a soft and comfortable upbringing might devoid them of the same struggles that shaped my personality, but as an active and caring father, I will do what is best for them in the here and now...

Nissan GT-R? Nice street car, but for the track, the AWD drive-train causes it to plow. Stingray or ZO6 would show you tail lights all day. ;-)

Nevertheless? You've designed a beautiful ride.
