OT: Michigan Meme Facebook Page

Within the last two days, there has been a facebook page created completely devoted to Michigan based memes.  It had about 1500 likes in 24 hours and continues to grow rapidly.  Most of them are absolutely hilarious, especially if you are/were a student of the university.  http://www.facebook.com/UmichMemes

The best part about this is how it has attracted several Sparty trolls and, promptly, little brother made a page of its own.  So please, if you enjoy making UM memes (and I know you all do) come on over to the page and post your own awesome meme and even join in on some good ole Spartanfreude.

The worst part about the MSU page isn't that they made it after us (we were beaten by others), but that all but 2 of their memes have no direct relation to MSU (One is about Sparty's, the other about U of M, ofcourse). It's just recycled garbage. I think every one on the Michigan page is unique to U of M. It's like a study in creativity.

Certainly a lot of ours have MSU connected to them, but a vast majority relate to things specific to Michigan.  Plus, we may have not been the first, but Sparty sure as hell started their page in responce to ours.  I think they even say that on their's

Yeah, there's more popping up now that it appears the pages have met each other. And I agree that the umich page is probably how it popped up on enough MSU kid's news feeds. It's a good testament to Michigan pulling in kids from a variety of places (Instead of just metro detroit or main land China). 

My favorite from Michigan's has to be: 

"I don't always get lost going to class."

"But when I do, it's always in GG Brown."
