OT: Michigan of the East Knocks Ohio State Out of NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament

Before Saturday night's college hockey games ended, there was a good chance that there’d be only one NCAA school to claim entrants in this season’s NCAA Tournaments in men’s and women’s basketball AND men’s and women’s hockey.

But then Harvard, The Michigan of the East, beat Quinnipiac 3-2 in overtime, to win the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament as the ECAC Tournament champion. Harvard became a bid stealer that prevented the 15th-ranked team in the Pairwise from playing in the tournament.

Congratulations to the Harvard Crimson! Their victory means that Ohio State’s men’s hockey team has been eliminated from the NCAA Tournament. LINK
