OT: Mad Men Season 6 finale discussion
There hasn't been a Mad Men thread since the season 6 premiere a few months ago, so I thought I'd start one.
There's been a lot of rumors and theories floating out on the web about what will happen at the end of the season. A popular Megan=Sharon Tate theory has been out there (meaning Megan will get murdered...but this is highly unlikeable imo), and Ted dying in a plane crash (unlikely also). One theory I think may be true is Don could have a life-changing heart-attack, as the person in the season premiere having a heart attack was actually him and not the door-man.
And of course the big question everyone is asking is, will Sally tell Megan or Betty about Don "comforting" Mrs Rosen?
Also, I'd really like to see Jon Hamm win the Emmy this year. He deserves it.
this season has been nuts. i wish they would make like 18-24 episodes a year, instead of the 8-11 it seems like they do make.
I would like for them to get to the end of this GM/Ford quasi-storyline. Ever since Chevy became the big client in the show Lincoln has been running those ridiculous car commercials promoting their relationship with the show. There must be some punchline looming other than making Chevy employees look like d-bags on the show over the course of the season.
Maybe they all get throat cancer from all the drinking and smoking.
Who would've guessed? Instead of Meghan or Ted dying, it was Pete's mom.
I almost let a tear or two drop after Don's Hershey's pitch
Hamm should win an Emmy for it. Do you know why Pete is all of a sudden going to California?
Some great discussion in this thread tonight lol.
I assume it was because of what happened in Detroit.
Had to love the subtle "going down?" line as he entered the elevator.
