No... but if the Big 10 network is going to do another reality show about a football team this year, PLEASE don't let it be Illinois. Or (God forbid) the damn Buckeyes... I don't think the hemisphere could withstand the inflation of Tressel's ego. Not sure I want it to be us... yet. As much as I'd become obsessed with it, I'd rather keep the advantages of a certain veil of secrecy. Although Mike Barwis would instantly become a household name. And Big Will would be a lock for Dancing with the Stars. And Forcier would get even more tail (all of which would be reported in scrutinous detail at this very site).

"I'd rather keep the advantages of a certain veil of secrecy." This isn't necessarily aimed at you 60 I agree, but... The ironic thing here is we all found out the advantages of LC's Fort Schembechler when RR got demolished by the media in part because of the greater access and communication he had with them (I think 3-9 maybe was part of it too). Hindsight 20-20 and all that.

http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=909358 Regarding the steps they went through to get Nu'Keese Richardson's LOI sent: "They didn't go do it at the school because they knew somebody at the school was going to screw it up, the fax machine wouldn't work or they would have changed the signatures. All the things that go on in Pahokee, now. The aunts took it over to a junior high, found a fax machine that worked and faxed them over to us at 7 o'clock and I kept it in a drawer till their 1 o'clock press conference." I guess he doesn't want to make friends in any part of Florida.

Who will be throwing to Nu'Keese? Are they set at QB for a while? I ask because, according to rivals, they haven't signed a QB for 2009 yet, and only signed one 3* in 2008.

Wow, that's hardcore...I mean I figured he'd whine a bit about tactics but flat out saying Urban Meyer committed a recruiting violation, and that he's a cheater....well way to go nuclear on Florida Kiffin!

It looks like Kiffin asked Richardson to keep his visit to Knoxville under wraps. If that is the case, then how could Meyer have committed a violation if he didn't know where Richardson was? I can't want for Florida to hang 85 on Tennessee this year. Rocky Top is the worst song ever and I am naturally biased against most people from Tennessee.

I guess Kiffin needs to do something to take attention away from UT's dismal record against Florida as of late. In all of their rivalry, I think the best quote ever was from Steve Spurrier, referring to the Citrus Bowl, now the Crap-it-all One Bowl: "You can't spell Citrus without UT."

"Coach Kiffin has violated the Southeastern Conference Code of Ethics," SEC commissioner Mike Slive said in a statement. "SEC Bylaw 10.5.1 clearly states that coaches and administrators shall refrain from directed public criticism of other member institutions, their staffs or players." "The phone call to which Coach Kiffin referred to in his public comments is not a violation of SEC or NCAA rules. We expect our coaches to have an understanding and knowledge of conference and NCAA rules."
