OT - It's the Beginning of the End of Tebow

Congrats everyone, we won't have to hear about him soon.

Everyone does, try talking to a FSU fan, but hey, at least M beat Tebow. and to the below poster, people do not disrespect him, and I actually think he is one of the best players ever to play the game and of a high character, but we have to hear so much about it all the time. I for one will be glad when I can watch Gameday without having to sit through some story featuring Tebow talking to prisoners.

To have no respect for one of the greatest college football players of all time both on and off the field is actually just what I would expect from this awful blog

1.) A user-created message board thread represents exactly NOTHING about the blog part of the site. 2.) There's a difference between "no respect" and "tired of the media chronicling his every move, thought, and skin particle." Is Tim Tebow a good quarterback? Undoubtedly. Do I want him to graduate so I won't have to hear about his impending sainthood every weekend? Absolutely. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you already knew both of those things, though.

Clearly such an awful blog that you continue to post here semi-regularly for the past 2-3 months. If there has been any degradation of this blog over the past few months, it has been because of the random neg magnets who show up, call everyone on the board an idiot and get neg-banged, and then who sign in with another user name and repeat the process. The Internet is filled with places for you to rant about whatever bugs you - stop wasting everyone's time here if you don't want to provide anything constructive.

There are always two sides to a flamewar. The instigator and the person that just cannot get through the day knowing that someone made a stupid comment on their precious message board, and therefore must respond with something witty so he/she can sleep that night. Both parties are equally responsible for clogging message board with useless threads.

There is no doubt that Tebow is a great college football player, probably top 10 all time. Just think he was almost a Michigan Wolverine. If he had come here, I'd be willing to bet you never would have started this thread. Just sayin.....

I think what he has done for his school and all the charitable work he does is amazing. That being said, I am a bit tired of the constant coverage and the commentators turning every thing he says or does into a saintly act. He seems to be a great individual but I do not know him as a person, just the media giant that has been created and it gets tiresome always being shoved in your face.

Mark Ingram is a former Scout 3* from Flint. Now he is a Heisman candidate. Something to think about with all the recent star gazing and criticism that has been going on on the mgoboard.

"This is the best environment in the history of college football" and "It just doesn't get any bigger or any better than this!" Holy shit, those are going to make Verne and Gary blush!

My reactions were the opposite of Danielson. At first, I thought it was a forward pass. But I think the replay showed that the ball came loose from Tebow's grip before the forward motion, yet Tebow was still able to "palm" the ball forward, to borrow a basketball term. I think that's a fumble. Academic, I know, but what are boards for other than to pontificate?
