OT: Iowa's offseason troubles start up again?

Submitted by IowaBlueFan on

So I live in Iowa, and so I read all of the newspapers and whatnot for Iowa football trying to find tidbits about Michigan.  According to ESPN (my paper hasn't arrived yet)  Jewel Hampton and Jordan Bernstine were arrested Saturday morning.  I remember a couple years ago when it seemed like Iowa football players were arrested every other day.

I did a quick MGoSearch and didn't come up with anything so sorry if this is a double post.

You'd think that after being out all last season with an injury that he'd be doing everything possible to ensure playing time. I guess getting wasted and throwing your weight around in a local bar is more important to him.

Will have kids that get in trouble.   There is no winner when trying to compare which program has the most problems...

Of course, I would be open to arguments that msu wins hands down.

here's the problem. (I live in Iowa but I'm a Cyclone) KF has Iowa in his back pocket. The only people that paid much attention to those problems were Cyclone fans. I don't get hung up on it because it happens to every program. In the past few years (with the exception of Clayborn) they haven't had a ton of trouble. Of course, Clayborn played a whole year while in the midst of what I think was an Assault causing harm charge. Don't qoute me on that but it was pretty serious.

To answer your question, not really because 75% of the fans are Hawks here.
