he definitely seemed a likely top 5 NFL pick at the time.

He was not showing equivalent signs of potential super-stardom in the minors.

So...would you take near-certain top 5 pick QB $, or roll the dice on making The Show? Be sure to factor in that you are striking out a lot and making a ton of errors

I did not realize JV was making that kind of cash. Here's hoping he can get out on the mound for the Tigers soon and starts earning that huge paycheck.

of this list is that Prince Fielder's sorry ass is on it.  I just remember yelling "Run Fatty Run!!" every time he legged a double into a single.

I also used to yell at him to hang his fat gut over the strike zone to try to get hit by the pich when he was slumping.  Huge waste of money on that dude.

Those soccer dudes are payed . . . Rooney isn't even the highest paid player and he gets $500,000 a week pay and that doesn't include his shoe deal with Nike and all the other coutless endorsements.

Easy guys.

A) this is a blog for fun and entertainment.

B). I am his size, almost exactly. It's kinda like the N word.

C) as apparently this is a necessary thing now, /S

And in case you didn't know, the "/S" means the post is intended as sarcasm, again because this is a blog for entertainment, not serious discussions on body dismorphic disorder.

I'm not surprised at mlb players. It's long been said that they get paid among the highest. You have to remember their owners get 81 home games worth of revenue as opposed to 8 or 41.

Those guys get serious cash, man. Vettel's deal with Ferrari is insane (in a good way..he's elite) and others are making major money like Hamilton, Rosberg, Kimi and Alonso. Big, big money in F1.

To get paid that kinda cash to do what you love would truly be a dream in every sense of the word.

For being such a math-centric sport, I don't understand how MLB owners/managers prioritize their payroll. It seems like they always pay players based on what they've done instead of what they'll potentially do. Every time one of those huge contracts comes around, everyone knows the player's not worth it.... except for the GMs.
