I've heard its good practice never to draft a guy from the close college more so if the guy is from the area. This is so there is less pressure from his support group, It would be hard enough to keep the vultures away if you’re a thousand miles away but could you imagine if you were from south MI went to UM/MSU and then get drafted by a Detroit team? Not saying Joe D is doing this plus both were not from the area.

Sports Illustrated just did a re-draft of the lottery and with the 5th pick Hardaway goes to the Suns before Burke goes to Philly with the 6th.

Although they mention the fact that, "The most intriguing prospect left is easily Trey Burke, but drafting a third point guard behind Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic would be an overstretch of the “best player available” framework." for the Suns. I just thought it was interesting to see that Hardaway has leaped that far up the board. Would have been great if they actually did go back to back in the upper half of the top 10 (almost both in the top 5!)

I am going to start a campaign of blackmail, espionage, violence, and bribery to bring Stauskas to the Nuggets.... or, failing that, to keep Stauskas in Ann Arbor. Stauskas has everything the Nuggets are missing  on the perimiter (3PT Shooting, Swagger, not-Randy-Foye-ness).
