The only East Coast city they send PTY to...as Philly is the best beer city in the US, if the world! (Clearly biased, but I think it's a defensible position.) I will allow that we don't have a brewery as good as RR, for sure... but in terms of overall availability of great beer, Philly is seriously world class... definitely worth the trip if you haven't been!

after oldest son's high school hoops game over in gaylord. took two of the other sons over to watch. good game. time for a cocktail. four more hoops games tomorrow for other children. more booze after those, too.

My homebrew. It's an IPA and it's not terrible, but not great. I tested my other beer that is in my fermenter (and should be finished fermenting) and it is AWFUL. Taking notes for next time.

to be participating in these drinking threads with depressing regularity. So, (again) Glenlivet, followed by a surprisingly nice zinfandel.

Difference tonight is I'm working on my agenda for the meeting I'm holding in Singapore in about a month. After all the time I spent traveling Europe when I lived there, I have never been further east than UAE nor further west than Hawaii. Really looking forward to this trip.

Maybe from there I'll report a Fri night drink as a Singapore Sling.
