OT: Former Michigan Assistants land Dr. Phillips duo
Given the recruiting roller coaster Michigan has experienced over the last few months, I find it interesting to keep track of former Michigan targets, especially their connection to former Michigan assistants.
So this weekend Pitt -- where MaGee, Dews, and Gibson all landed after RR's firing -- lands Dr. Phillips S Roderick Ryles and LB/S LaQuentin Smith. It looks like the 3* Dr. Phillips pipeline is taking Rt. 80 a few hundred miles southeast to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Both players are very good gets for Pitt, especially Smith. While Pitt wasn't able to lure Bryant or Taylor, they still did ok for themselves. Those Pitt assistants were also able to land Malcolm Crockett who entertained Michigan interest for a couple of weeks.

there are board rules about paywall info.
I saw that on Scout and I don't put much stake in those kind of comments. A lot can happen. Doesn't hurt to be optimistic though.
