OT - Extra slot in YouTube TV Account

Submitted by MGoArchive on January 21st, 2021 at 6:57 AM

I have an open slot in my YouTube TV account as of Feb 1st. How this works is that you'll be provided a burner gmail address / password to login to YouTube TV - this way we both can know the password to that account (as opposed to giving a stranger the password to your real gmail account) and I can login for you every 90 days locally where the account is based (as I also know the password) so you won't get the YouTube TV nag about being outside of the geographic area.

Payment will be done via Venmo - I send a payment request on the 1st of the month - this will run $22/month. If you're interested, e-mail me at mgovault at gmail dot com.

On a semi-related note, I noticed that Hulu Live removed FSD from the lineup. Did anyone else notice this, or is it just a NW Ohio change? I'll likely have to switch providers once the spring rolls around.

Co-signed.  I just posted this in the Regional Sports thread:

This is a problem.  Last October Sinclair Communications basically cut off all their regional sports affiliation with YouTube TV, FUBU and the other streamers.  Meaning here in Cleveland I cant get Cavs or Indians games on the TV unless I go back to a cable or direct TV - neither of which I want to do.

Allegedly Fox is going to launch their own PPV service you can purchase but yesterday I downloaded FoxGo on Roku only to again to get blocked because I didnt have one of the big boy providers.

I'm guess this will get resolved at some point given the overall move to cord cutting but as of now it sucks as there appears to be no way around this for all of us

Psvue did that, then youtube tv did it. It's not an isolated thing. They keep jacking up rates when you would expect the efficiencies of delivering only digital content through the internet would cause them to go down over time. I don't know if that's from the content providers putting the squeeze on companies like Hulu and Hulu is just passing the buck, but it sucks regardless.

Still better than dealing with att (DirecTV)

I'm stuck in Heathrow Airport and I need to get back to the States asap.  Some hooligan stole my wallet so I'm in a real pickle.  If someone would be kind enough to reply with a credit card number I would be greatly obliged.

Meh, I've got 6 on my account and it's literally never been a problem in the few years I've had it. I guess if you had 6 people with the same viewing habits it might be an issue.

The increases are annoying though. "Here's some new channels, we're bumping up the price! (Oh, by the way, we're also removing some channels...)"

There are only three subscribers on the account - I cap it at three. YouTube caps the account at three simultaneous streams (hence you wouldn't more than three Michigan fans). $22 x 3 = $66, which covers the cost of the subscription evenly.

https://www.streameast.live/

is a great streaming site. They come and go so this won't last forever, but for football and basketball this year I've been able to watch every game I've wanted, and in HD. Problem is that you can only watch live of course.
