Why is Drake hosting the ESPY's again?

Also,

Trey is coming back to Michigan. My neck of the woods for a signing.

Also, if anyone is interested, Lloyd Carr is doing a private signing here as well.

I just spent about $1,000 on a new television, wall mount and a spare HDMI cable for the Blu-Ray, so right now I am making a late dinner of salmon, red potatoes and asparagus and drinking a Mike's Hard Lemonade with plans to switch to a nice pinot grigio at dinner and then take the wine train from there.

Uffff I put it on about 10 minutes ago for Iggy Az..blah blah's performance, and yes, this is terrrrrible. I suppose that's just me, I'm probably in the minority in caring what Maria Sharapova "thinks a guy should wear".

So...either today is Thursday or the ESPYs are now a 'special occassion'.

I assume I'll have to change my calendar b/c the ESPYs have sucked for a number of years now.

Regardless, drink on ladies and gents.

It is amazing to see the progression of this forum's drinking threads take the same route as many alcoholics. It began with sporadic threads here and there, then consistently during the season as a night-before-the-game or post celebratory/depression threads, then they became a weekly occurance no matter the time of year, and now they are a nightly tradition. Pretty soon there may have to be an intervention.

Heading to the ATL first thing in the morning for a buddies wedding. Here's to listening to the SEC chatter and how great the southern way of life is... [face palm]

Durant slappies pissed he lost the award for best moment. That speech was so cheesy anyway.

drinks are definitely in order...not so much because of the rugrat but because if the other adults at the zoo...I could not believe how many grown ass adults trued to push their way past kids for a better view of the animals. Then again, it was the Columbus zoo, so I guess I should be impressed that they were able to convert oxygen to carbon dioxide. Columbus jokes aside, its a great zoo as far as zoos go...my Grandma lived at Ten Mile and Coolidge for years so we were regulars at the Detroit Zoo, and its pretty good but Jack Hanna and company have done good work here as well.

Never watched the ESPYs and don't plan on starting now. Just finished a long day of proposal writing and I do need a drink. A montepulciano, simply because that's what my girl opened.

Someone please wake me for the Thursday morning drinking thread, it's been a long day and I may oversleep.

He's not representing Canada. They didn't give him a Canadian flag jersey and instruct him to tell wholesome jokes about hockey. He's representing himself, and he is a rapper. PS I think he was overall pretty funny. Hosting these things is a a very tough gig. Name the last host of anything who crushed it.

Like how all of black America was pissed at Sterling but Drake jokes about racism and no one cares.
