OT: ESPN's College GameDay Introduction

Submitted by MGoBlue22 on
For the past several seasons, the introduction to ESPN's College GameDay has included at least one highlight from a Michigan game held the year before. Does anyone think the trend will continue this season? If so, what do you think Michigan's highlight will be?

Is that awful Big N' Rich song still going to be used in the Gameday intro? If so, I don't mind if Michigan is no longer included in the opening. That song sucks.

"We're coming to your city Well we blew through Oklahoma, Alabama and through Georgia Tryin' to get on down to Florida for the game Then we loaded up our tailgate joined a convoy on the freeway on our way to see them Buckeyes and Notre Dame Victory for USC, Bulldogs barking at the Wolverines Hook 'Em Horns and gimme that Rocky Top Tennessee" (courtesy of Yahoo! Answers) Reading that just makes me realize what an awful fucking song that is.

Is Gameday still relatively popular? When I was in college (late 90's), I loved the show - it was fairly informative and would get me hyped for a day of football watching. Now I never watch it and would rather watch Thomas and Friends with my kids on a Saturday morning. Also, the "Coming to your Citaaaay" song is even worse than the Faith Hill song on Sunday Night Football.

Is gameday popular? Jesus tap-dancing Christ! I only hope that Thomas and Friends is a pregame show hosted by Anthony Thomas and Dhani Jones Your children are being raised by a father who has lost touch. For their sake, please plant them in front of Desmond and Fowler. They can ignore Herby. I hope Coach Corso is recovering well enough to announce this year.

You can be a country music fan and loathe Big 'N Rich. Also, you can enjoy sex, but loathe scheisse porn. In each case, the former is as healthy and enjoyable as the latter is shameful and perverse.

Love college gameday, but rarely watch it because I am at the game. Also I like the Big N Rich song however it should have only been used for one year, Not 3 or 4

I live on the west coast and would have to get up by 7 am to watch. So I have not watched it in years. I assume they still have a pagan alter set up to sacrifice virgin marching band members to the coaches and players of the SEC and USC. If so I didn't miss anything.
