OT: EDSBS Charity Bowl Breaks Record with $901,000+. Money Cannon Figures Prominently
Not much to discuss, we're pretty ho-hum about Beating The Shit Outta Everyone Else for the last 12 years*. Of the $901,000, Michigan contributed $134,500 or so, with the 2nd place Aggies of Texas A&M riding a single donation of $50,000 to a grand total of $61,000 (bet that one giant doner felt like a fool. He shouldn't, though.). Great work by everyone who donated whatever they could. It's an incredibly worthy cause. It calls for a victory Haiku:

* At least according to me...
Yeah, A&M having one huge donation always cracked me up - if there's a better encapsulation of A&M football it's making a big splash with money and the fizzling out. But as noted, the charity still won and congrats to that guy for making such a generous pledge.
Also, glad to see PTKU holding up well.
This fanbase has its flaws but they absolutely come out to support worthwhile causes when asked.
FUCK YES CHARITY DOMINATION YET AGAIN
I donated $45.23 to Protect Trans Kids University because I knew Michigan didn't need the help, and I'm sure some other Wolverines did the same. I correctly predicted that we'd raise even more money because $45.23 > $42.27. Great work team.
wonder why i didn't get an email about this year's edition after being a regular donor in the past. i nuked my twitter account earlier this year and stuff like this is one of the few things i miss. go blue!
Good to see Michigan dominate this again but it is a bummer that they didn't hit the stretch goal of $1M as that would have led to high comedy with Spencer Hall from the Shutdown Fullcast (the internet's only college football podcast) having to play a round of golf, a sport he loathes, in a pair of giant JNCO's.
"the internet's only college football podcast"
Am I missing something? Isn't the Monday morning MGoBlog podcasts and 'internet college football podcast'? What about the podcasts that various other fanbases have for their teams?
It may be a little dumb, but I genuinely love seeing Michigan dominate for a good cause. Great job everyone.
It always warms my heart, how we all harness our spite and pettiness for a great cause.
Mmm...doner. Here in Germany, they're way better about having hot peppers and spice than they used to be.
