While I agree he isn't the best shooter, he was also a year advanced from where he should have been. To say he's injury prone is not even close to the truth. He played in every game for Duke this year, including the game after he injured his shoulder.

I agree that I doubt he comes to Michigan, but I think Thornton fits exactly what we need.  Our team is already stocked with shooters.  We need a guy who can penetrate, draw in the defense, and kick out to our shooters.  Too many possessions this year consisted of the ball getting swung around the the outside from tightly-covered shooter to tightly-covered shooter until an awkward contested shot.
