OT: did Grayson Allen have another trip attempt?

Submitted by We are back on
In not Najee Harris news: last night Grayson Allen was back in the news again for another controversial leg move, ACC has stated it wasn't clear if it was intentionally or not. This started a huge debate at our Lions watch party last night, so I'm asking the board how did it look to you? https://www.google.com/amp/www.foxsports.com/college-basketball/story/g…

Click this and scroll it in slow motion.  Show me where his foot gets caught up enough to force it up into the defender's groin.

Hint:  The defender slides his foot straight back, Allen donkey kicks his foot straight up in the groin area of the defender.  I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt...

Why? He has a well-deserved reputation for bad acts with his legs. Part of damaging your own reputation is that it gives others the green light to assume the worst of you. I bet most of those assuming he was acting out will be proven right.

Obviously the kid has some issues but i don't think this is on purpose. He sees the screen coming and lunges toward it expecting to move the guy. The guy doesn't move which throws Allen's balance off, sending him the opposite direction of where he planned to go.
Try it at home. Shuffle to your left, have you wife or buddy then quickly shove your left shoulder back to the right. You will either fall down or catch yourself with you right foot causing your left to go up.

Good god. That asshole is such a dirty player. The kid clearly has issues and I'm not joking. Like there is something seriously wrong with him.

I think his body started taking him in this direction naturally and then he made effort to extend his leg farther back than he otherwise would have. As others mention, this is not a common occurrence in basketball games. He shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt anymore.

That kid is like the villian in a Rodney Dangerfield movie. The jerky son of the elitist snob Rodney pokes in the eye for two hours, while Rodney's kid steals Allen's girl by convincing her that Allen really is an asshole.
