Seems even the name of his Music company replaces the CK in Jackpot:

The two C's in Jaccpot, cops believed, were symbolic. Crips avoid putting a "C" next to a "K" because in gangspeak, that stands for "Crip Killer." Crosson said Jackson explained the spelling by saying the Internet domain name for Jackpot "was taken."

I stand corrected.  I had heard on a local ESPN affiliate that he was seen flashing the CK hand gesture.  I am just tan enough to realize that would mean he was a Blood.  However, it appears that they got their information wrong.  Everyone point and laugh at me...

of Richard Sherman, but this article is pretty cool:

But go ahead and judge DeSean for the company he keeps. While you’re at it, judge me, too, because I still live in Los Angeles, and my family does, too. We didn’t run from where we grew up. We aren’t afraid to be associated with the people who came up with us. We brought some our money back and started charities and tried to help out a few guys who were with us when we were nobodies. I won’t apologize for that, and I suspect neither will DeSean when he’s back on the field doing what he’s always done: grinding through adversity.

and while Sherman has a point for those people who actually believe the media when they imply that this gang nonsense had anything to do with getting cut, that isn't the reason he was cut. It makes a nice story for the media and gives them something to flap their gums about, but the reality is whe the Eagles signed DJax to his new contract, it was widely known the Eagles would be looking to restructure the contract well before it expired.  This year, the Eagles wanted to re-structure, and DJax was apparently looking for a raise.  The last time DJax wanted a raise, he dogged it so badly for so long that many of his teammates were unhappy with him. I'm sure this played into the Eagles thinking more than anything else.

And for Sherman to compare this to Riley Cooper only proves that Sherman is as much of a sheep here as anyone.  Riley Cooper is an idiot. Full stop. However, the reality is that DJax's social circle had almost nothing to do with him getting cut. For Sherman to say it's not fair for DJax to be cut because of "gang ties" while Cooper isn't cut for the indefensible things he said perpetuates this lazy media story.  So, to me, Sherman is the guy trying to prove to us all how dumb we are and how smart he is, which is ironic because he was dumb enough to be a willing sheep for the media.

For the record, I was of the opinion that the media blew Shermans post game comments after the NFC Champ. game WAAAAAY out of proportion. Again it was the lazy media looking for an easy story to fill column inches and airtime between the championship games and the Super Bowl.  I never had a problem with Richard Sherman, but right now, I'm tired of hearing from him.

never a fan of players who talk more than they can play.  Sherman can certainly back it up, but there are times I see him jawing and being demonstrative, even after allowing a catch.  It's like: "Hey dude...you just tackled the guy after an 8-yard catch AND a 1st down...settle down now.".

I prefer actions to words, e.g. the Barry Sanders way.

I'm not a redskins fan, but I hope desean does work in Washington this fall. Primarily because he's on my fantasy team, and also because the eagles were shady with how they got rid if him.

I find it interesting how a nj.com got an anonymous tip, while Djax and Kelly/ the eagles were having issues. The league is very sensitive to hang issues because of Hernandez and the idea of gang affiliation is more of a brand than a stain. If the league or teams investigated every player the way djax was investigated we'd be left with one on one manning bowls every week. Of course cooper would be all-tune receiver.

I see this as a good pickup for the redskins. He should be RG III's go to receiver. I'm a Giants fan though so it sucks that the redskins might get better but its good that the eagles might get worse as a result of this.
