OT: Bowman has a great night as starting QB for Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State
I just got done watching the Oklahoma State vs. Kansas State game.
It was an exciting game, and Bowman had a great night. Go, Bowman!
Some of his most spectacular passes -- beautiful bombs, right into hands of downfield receiver in stride -- were dropped. But he had some other beauties, and ran it a bit, too.
I think Bowman is a great guy, and I'm happy to see him doing well.

So if Michigan goes up against Okie St, their starting QB will be worse than our 2nd string? Or did Bowman leave because he wanted to start?

I think its his last year so he needs to start. The other QBs also left to start somewhere else.

I believe coming into this season that Cade had two years of eligibility remaining and that's before a potential medical redshirt for this season (although the injury occurred in the 5th game so it may be beyond the deadline).

Good for Bowman. I wish he went to a better team. Those drops are frustrating. One offensive TD and 5 field goals. KSU throws 3 interceptions. I hope things improve for OkSt.

Definitely not a typical Oklahoma State team with a Justin Blackmon or Dez Bryant type receiver and throwing it 60 times a game

It is great to see him do well. Never had a bad thing to say about Michigan but had to go someplace where he could play.

I did see that the turf monster got Alan on one of his QB draw runs. It looked like there was a trip line right at the line of scrimmage.

Bowman's a triple threat. Stats in passing (19 passes for 235 yds), rushing (5 runs for 14 yds), and receiving (1 reception for 3 yds).

Nice fit for him at a legit program. Took a nasty hit but bounced up. Good luck to players who appreciate what Michigan gave them.

So that makes 3 former Michigan QBs starting for other D1 programs - Cade (now injured), Bowman and Milton. Did I miss anyone.

It was his best game yet, against a respectable opponent. His prior games were not good, nor were the other QBs. O(K)SU isn't good this year. I wouldn't say he had a great game statistically. 54% for 6.7 YPA and 0 TDS is not efficient or good. It's okay. But I'm glad he got the win, is playing better, and his team is performing better as the season progresses. Hopefully this will set the stage for continued success.
